You will be 5 minutes from the motorway toll, 20 minutes from Chambéry, 25 minutes from Aix les Bains, 35 minutes from Annecy and 45 minutes from Lyon and Grenoble. The space La Maison De Gerbaix is ​​a quiet place in the countryside, very easily accessible 5 minutes from the A43 motorway exit. The nearest village is 2 km away and has all the shops you need. Greenery, small birds, nice view of hills and mountains, you can relax in peace. Free parking. Your private space is located on all the 1st floor of the house. It includes 2 rooms, 1 bathroom with WC, 1 relaxation area with a sofa and a library. We lived on the ground floor.. Shared spaces on the ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, garden, petanque court, terraces. breakfast is included in the price. On reservation, I can prepare an evening meal for you. Ask for the menu ! Guest access No problem to park in front of the house, there is space and it's free. A large garage can safely park motorcycles and bicycles. The nearest village is Novalaise, 2 km away with its shops, its famous Sunday market and its bars and restaurants. From there you can get to Chambéry in 25 minutes by bus if you don't have car. During your stay I am present normally throughout your stay and I can give you good plans for visits, hikes, getaways personalized according to your tastes. I have also developed "rallies" to discover in a fun way the cities of Chambéry, Aix les Bains, Annecy. I can accompany you on cultural visits and serve as a tourist guide. I also provide you with various free paper guides to consult on site. Other things to note The idea of ​​creating a guesthouse followed my career change in 2021. I now devote myself to the well-being of my guests, organizing tours, tailor-made fun and cultural activities, and, incidentally, supporting seniors in their leisure activities. Maison De Gerbaix dates back to 2005 and was designed by my husband. With its honeycomb brick walls, numerous bay windows, and good exposure, everything has been designed to maximize the space. His paintings and sculptures also decorate the interior. It is also possible to purchase exclusive Maison De Gerbaix goodies. Music is highly appreciated: grand piano, guitar, djembe... Feel free to play! Many games and books are available. A flat field behind the house allows you to practice many sports.
