The space The entire three storey villa is yours to enjoy. The main level has the living spaces, three bedrooms and the large louvre-roofed terrace with outside fire. The upper floor has the luxurious principal suite comprising main bedroom, ensuite bathroom, huge dressing room and office. The lower floor has a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom along with the garage and ski drying space. Each bedroom is thoughtfully styled offering plenty of wardrobe space, a desk and Sky TV — three bedrooms have private ensuite bathrooms, and two share a large bathroom. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. A scheduled ferry service within a few minutes walk of the house gets you to town in only 7 minutes. Please be aware that that an adjoining apartment is also rented by the couple providing the concierge service, however this is completely separate and you will be unlikely to be even aware of them unless you request their help Guest access Guest have access to the entire villa with self check-in. Entry is gained via digital locks at lower ground floor and upper ground floor. The door code will be supplied on confirmation of booking. Other things to note Kelvin Heights is renown as the premier residential location in Queenstown. It faces northwards to the Frankton arm of Lake Wakatipu. It gets all day sun. This is a big factor for winter stays. For example if some in your group choose to remain in the house or go walking nearby rather than go skiing they will enjoy fabulous views and sun. Most locations closer to town are in shade for much of the day and can be very cold. A few minutes walk from Shimmerlake gets you to Bayview Wharf where a scheduled high speed ferry service takes you to town in just 7 minutes. Our guests love this service. If you prefer to go to town by car it takes just 15-20 minutes. The Remarkables Ski field road is just 10 minutes from Shimmerlake and Coronet Peak road is just 20 minutes away.
