If you feel like looking around outside of Olympic Valley, Lake Tahoe is only 10 minutes away. This is a great spot! The best way to get around in North Lake Tahoe is by car. Uber/Lyft are limited here but taxi-cabs are available. Daytime travelling options can also include Tahoe Area Regional Transit.
