Our newly remodeled early 1900's cottage is in the quiet Old Towne Lafayette historic neighborhood just a 1 block walk to Public Road with our local coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream parlor, boutiques, antique markets, breweries, parks, trails, & street fairs. Our cottage is full of character & comfort. Ample, Free on-street parking. 3 BDR+2 BA. Serene gardens and bistro tables. 1 well-behaved pup welcome, fully-fenced yard! No kitties :( Central to Boulder, Denver & Rocky Mtns! The space We are so excited to welcome guests to our historic cottage which could not be more conveniently located to our charming Old Town Lafayette! One block off Public Road , our street is quiet, safe, and family-friendly with ample street parking. Recently renovated and beautifully decorated with a vintage farmhouse vibe, we are one block from the main street of old-town with restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlours, antique shops, and more! As a highly sensitive artist, Regina makes sure that all the lights in the home are soft and dimmable. We have large windows and beautiful natural light in all the rooms. Charming antique furniture, art, and decor are sprinkled throughout every corner! The home is well-organized and sparkling clean. We have several pieces from Regina’s Flower Portraiture collection in our home to lull you into tranquility. :) Our neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly and we are highly invested in our relationships with those around us. We have quiet hours as of 10pm. There are no parties or smoking (in or out) allowed at any time. When we are hosting we stay in our little studio about 5 minutes away so we are quick to respond to any needs or requests our guests have to make sure you have an enjoyable and peaceful stay. With a few steps up from the front walk, the home is one level featuring incredibly high ceilings and windows throughout. With an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living space it is lovely for relaxing and socializing. The kitchen has beautiful rustic blue-tiled counters, a deep sink, gas stove, microwave, fancy European fridge, dining table that seats 6, dishes, cookware, backing/cooking/pantry items, and a coffee + tea station. The living room adjoining the kitchen has a plush couch + TV with streaming services (no local TV channels or cable). We have three bedrooms all on the single floor. As you walk into the home, just to the left, is our luxurious king-sized bedroom with a 5* star rated adaptive foam mattress from Tuft and Needle. Small dresser, vintage vanity desk and cushioned chair, huge picture windows looking out to the front of the house, and room-darkening curtains to ensure a relaxing holiday lie-in. Across the hall is a small bathroom with unique pebbled tile floor, clawfoot bathtub/shower, organic shampoo/conditioner/soap, and beautiful natural light. We have added window privacy film for all the reasons you can imagine. :) Just down the “hall” is the bunkbed room with a closet and a bean-bag chair our nieces and nephews strongly recommended. We were told that, “when on vacation there is a lot of activity and they would want to relax but the bed is not that relaxing unless you want to sleep.” Duly noted, kiddos! Next to this room is our queen-sized bedroom with another uber comfortable Tuft & Needle mattress, deliciously sleep-inable linens, room-darkening shades, a comfortable chair, gorgeous antique dresser, and two closets. The bonus to this bedroom is the adjoining bathroom with a pocket sliding door, high ceilings, white-tiled shower with a glass door, organic shampoo/conditioner/soap, and custom-designed vanity using an antique sewing cabinet! We have a full-size stacked washer/dryer tucked in the closet next to the bunk-bed room and the queen-sized bedroom. We keep our guests stocked with organic scent-free laundry soap. A side door between the kitchen and living room ushers you onto a quiet porch with a swing, comfy outdoor loveseat, and patio area under the trees with a bistro set for enjoying your morning coffee made at home or from a local coffee shop just two blocks away. This area is adjacent to the neighbors and we ask that you are mindful of making too much noise in this area. The backdoor behind the dining room table brings you out to a private fully-fenced backyard with grass and our lovely established garden. In regards to location, we have the best of both worlds: a charming neighborhood while close to shops, restaurants, pubs, parks, and nature walks. You will be situated directly in Old Town Lafayette and Old Town Louisville is less than a 10 minute drive. We are centrally located to both Denver & Boulder (both about 20 minutes away). Stunning Rocky Mountain hikes can be accessed within 30 minutes. DIA is a straight shot down the toll road about 30-40 minutes. We are happy to host one well-behaved dog under 50 lbs. Please let us know your dog’s name, breed, and weight ahead of time. (You do not need to specify this for the humans in your party! :)) Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to severe allergies. Our dogs are like family, so we highly value making our space comfortable for your furry family member as well. We have a fenced backyard and would love for them to chase away the pesky squirrels! There are also several dog parks nearby. While we do not require a pet deposit, we do have a $20/dog/day fee. Our dog policy is that they are not left alone in the home uncrated and never left alone outside. All pet waste must be cleaned up upon your departure. We ask that pups stay off of the furniture and if there is any chance they will sneak up please put down a washable towel or linen for protection. These will be accessible in the home. PLEASE don’t allow your dog directly on couches, comforters or throw blankets. If there is dog hair on the furniture or linens an extra fee will be assessed. We are SUPER impressed that you read all the say though this!!! :) Guest access Our home has a private entrance in front with a keypad for entry. Neighboring the house in the back is a carriage house, which can be booked separately if you need additional living space The carriage house has its own private entrance around the side of the garage and dedicated garden area. Please leave the fence gates closed unless you have also booked this space. Below the carriage house is a studio apartment. The studio apartment also has its own private garden and entrance. Other things to note ♥ We are not able to host kitties due to severe allergies. ♥ Service/emotional animals are welcome. Guests are required to sign the service animal guidelines. ♥ TV with: YouTube TV, Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Paramount+ , Amazon Prime, Apple TV +, Disney+. (Use your account login) ♥ Gigabit Wifi with an option to run a wired ethernet connection. ♥ We are usually unable to accommodate late check outs or early check ins. We try to be fair to our cleaning team and give them sufficient time to clean between guests. If we are able to accommodate your request there is a $75 fee, please let us know now if you need to change your timing, and we will accommodate you if possible. ♥ We lovingly tend to our established gardens. A member of our team may be stopping by briefly during your visit to maintain the lawn or garden and will be as unobtrusive as possible. Please understand that we have little to no downtime between our guests and it is essential that we keep the gardens in good condition for everyone to enjoy. ♥ Pack N play and high chair are available UPON REQUEST. Regarding your furry family member: ♥ We are not able to host kitties due to severe allergies. ♥ We love dogs and are happy to welcome them if they are not destructive and/or loud enough to disrupt our neighbors. We do have several dog etiquette policies and an extra pet fee. Please inquire and let us know details about your furry companion! ♥ Extra fee of $20/ day / dog. ♥ Dogs are NOT allowed to be left free to roam inside or outside unattended. ♥ Dogs must be cozily crated if left at our house alone. ♥ Guests must clean up all pet waste.
