Hop in your car, and you are a short drive to Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Villanova University, and Rosemont College. One Reserved Parking Spot (located two blocks away) is included. This home has a spacious open-concept first floor. The living area features a comfortable sofa and chairs with a large screen TV providing cable tv and access to streaming services. The dining area has a farmhouse table with chairs for 8 people. The completely renovated modern kitchen has a gas range, a French door refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave. There is a small mudroom for storing coats and shoes. The second floor has two bedrooms and two full baths, as well as a small office. - The primary bedroom has a king bed, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in glass and tile shower, a large dresser and a spacious closet. - The second bedroom has a queen bed and a large closet with plenty of shelves for storage. This room has a large screen TV with access to streaming services. - The full hall bath has a tub and shower combo. - The small office can be a dedicated office space or can comfortably hold a pack n play or twin air mattress as an extra sleeping space. - The third floor has a cozy bedroom with two twin beds, two dressers and a small closet. This bedroom also has a small nook, perfect for reading or playing games. The nook can fit a twin air mattress. There is one twin air mattress and one pack n play available for guest use. In the basement there are 2 full size washers and dryers! Short term 2 hour parking is available on the street. As a courtesy to our guests, we provide one reserved parking spot in a lot two blocks from the house for longer term parking NOTE: the steps into the house and up to the third floor are steep. The entire house! The backyard is private and provides easy access to downtown Ardmore. The front porch is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the quiet street. Ardmore is described as a town with "small town charm with big-city attractions". Our home is located in the heart of Ardmore, so you feel the vibrancy of the town. We are two blocks from Lancaster Avenue and the Ardmore train station. The shops and restaurants in Suburban Square are a five minute walk. Explore downtown Philadelphia and all the historic sites without the hassle of driving into the city and parking. The train station is less than five minute walk and the R5 train has you downtown at 30th Street Station or Suburban Station in 25 minutes.
