Come immerse yourself in the North woods. This cabin is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, family vacation, or outdoorsman paradise; close to the Pine River where you can enjoy world class trout fishing and some of the best kayaking in the lower peninsula. A short drive will take you deep inside the Huron-Manistee National Forrest. Close to many snowmobile, ATV, jeep trails, North Country Trail, and Silver Creek Pathway. The space Can sleep 4 to 6 comfortably. The property offers a front yard firepit and backyard firepit, horseshoes, and 2 kayaks available for you to use. Private hot tub in the back overlooking the north woods. Enjoy a cup of coffee and/or a good book while sitting in the front picture window with the woodstove crackling behind you. Several bird feeders will provide many opportunities to watch birds and other animals go about their day. Bird feeders will only be filled in winter months due to bear activity in the other months. Please note, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size mattress on bottom and single size mattress on top. At the moment access to the ladder to reach the top bunk is not available, therefore we prefer no one uses the top bunk. If you need access to the single size mattress, please let us know at least 1 day prior to your stay so we can lower the mattress for your use. Other things to note While you are relaxing in the hot tub be sure to glance up and take in the view of the large hawk's nest in one of the trees in the backyard. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, griddle, crockpot, and standard cooking utensils. We provide firewood for heating in the woodstove during the cooler months free of charge. Firewood for bonfires in the outdoor firepits is not provided free of charge, but is available on property for purchase. Propane gas for grill is provided. Please be sure to turn off when finished using the grill.
