The apartment in this listing is in a quiet condominium building. The building name is "DK 52". This is a one bedroom apartment, quite spacious and modern. A peaceful morning coffee on the rooftop terrace under an incredible sunrise, or sipping an iced cocktail in the evening are just some of the possibilities you can hope for. The bedroom leads directly to the bathroom. Whether you plan to cook or not, we have a fully equipped kitchen because we want it to be your home away from home. Note that there is no oven (it's too hot to cook anyway and your spouse may want to take a break from this chore!). Anyway, amazing restaurants are just minutes away. The kitchen, dining and living areas form an open area. A 45-inch widescreen TV is in the bedroom. We have the following streaming services that you can access with your personal account; Netflix, YouTube and Amazon. A rooftop infinity pool overlooking the sea offers breathtaking views while relaxing. In the lobby, there is often someone to welcome you. But in principle this is a self check-in. We are seconds from the exciting 5th Avenue with all its upscale shops and restaurants, and a 7-minute walk from the famous Martina's Beach Club and the sea. Come and discover the cultural, natural and historical aspects of Playa del Carmen and Rivera Maya. Alongside experienced tour guides, enjoy activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling off the island of Cozumel or in the "Cenotes". Experience night excursions on wild beaches with a zoologist. Watch sea turtles hatch their eggs or baby turtles rush to the sea. Discover all these wonderful miracles of nature during your stay with us. Underground rivers, cenotes, turquoise lagoons are nearby and are waiting for you to discover them. It all starts at the airport where Miguel can welcome you at great rates. Did you know that the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs landed near here? That we have the second longest barrier reef in the world? Guest access This is an entire private condominium with private entrance. Common areas are the gym and roof with pool, solarium and a 360-degree observation deck. Other things to note Our building is the tallest in the area, giving us spectacular 360-degree panoramic views from the roof. From this point, we can see the city and of course the turquoise sea which is minutes away. PARKING Although we have listed an underground parking lot, please note that it is not under our control. The building administration manages the parking. Our understanding is that this is the first come/first served principle. No parking space reservations are possible. Note that there are a very limited number of spaces available and as hosts we cannot GUARANTEE the availability of a parking space. Despite this, there are plenty of safe and free parking spots on Calle 52. Just make sure you don't need to place a parking voucher on your dashboard, which only costs a few pesos a day. The payment terminals are green. Street parking is free from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. If you park on the street, be sure to follow the rules and pay the fee. Otherwise you risk a considerable fine. WASHERS AND DRYERS There are washers and dryers in the building, but please note that these are only available subject to availability and are not controlled by us, the hosts. They are controlled by the building administration and may be subject to repairs and/or not be available to our guests WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. We will notify our guests as soon as possible of any changes in availability. To use these appliances, the customer MUST open the laundry door using the yellow CHIP key or request it from the security office. The appliances are paid for. We are therefore NOT RESPONSIBLE for the availability of these appliances.
