The Coach House, Clonakilty

This romantic place to stay offers a history all of its own. Once a Coach House, it has been lovingly restored using Lime Mortar and maintaining its unique high ceilings and beautiful stone and Red Brick effect. The interior has been created as a warm, clean, restful space where you can relax after exploring West Cork. Close enough for a walk down to Clonakilty town where the various shops, pubs and restaurants will give you a warm welcome. The space The Coach House has a large bedroom with a King size bed, 100% cotton bedlinen and enveloped in fully insulated walls for warmth. The bedroom still retains a view of some of the old stone work of the coach house, where the carriage would have been housed. The open plan Kitchen/sitting room has a clean, warm feel to the space where the stablemen would have slept before. Although a modern look, the emphasis is on calm and comfort for your stay. Guest access You’ll have your own independent living space with an outside patio area to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. There is a parking space.
