Remodeled 2025! Gulf access.
Beautifully remodeled in 2025. Gulf access.
Description
Remodel completed March, 2025. Boat, fishing, and Golf cart friendly neighborhood. Kayaks on-site. This spacious home is located on a saltwater canal that leads out to Gulf of Mexico. Many local events in this area that help visitors feel welcome. The home was recently remodeled in so many ways and we're so happy to now welcome guests. The space This spacious home in Gulf Harbors neighborhood of New Port Richey is fit for salt life. A screened lanai overlooks the canal and can be accessed from the living room. On the opposite side of the living room is a queen bedroom that also has a full water view. Kitchen is fitted with new stainless appliances and basic contents to be comfortable for a long weekend or a seasonal getaway. A cozy sitting area is just off the kitchen and dining room for enjoying a morning coffee. There is a nook off the kitchen with a small desk if you would like a place to setup your laptop. Next to the kitchen is a bathroom with shower. The other bathroom has a full bathtub and is in the main hallway next to a king bedroom, that has a TV, and queen bedroom that also has a TV. The dining room is at the front of the house. Enjoy tv apps and spectrum cable when you're not out enjoying the beautiful weather. If you prefer to open the impact-grade windows and enjoy the sea breeze. Our floating dock is suitable for launching kayaks (we provide 2 with life jackets) and docking your boat. If you'd like to bring your boat, there are local boat launches and you may tie up at our dock. You may park the boat trailer in our driveway but no parking on the street. No swimming or diving is allowed in the canal. To reach the gulf from our dock, you'll need to cross under the Floramar bridge. Clearance is 6ft at normal high tide and 10 and normal low, but remember to keep an eye on tide charts since the gulf will dictate if tides have a bigger swing on specific dates. The single car garage is a bit antique. It is connected to the house with access through the laundry room but is manual operation only so I suspect most guests will park in the driveway. Sunwest Golf Carts will deliver to the house if you'd like to rent a club car to cruise around in (approx $100/wk - call them for details though). For those who may have visited the Gulf harbors neighborhood in the past, please note there is security at the private neighborhood beach which only allows owners and longer-term guests. If you're booking an extended visit, we can help you with this but it's not meant for the weekly visitors. Ask for clarification. Several public beaches within a few miles though. We provide beach towels. Bath towels and beach towels are in the hall closet. Washer/dryer in the garage. Many waterfront restaurants in the area. Downtown New Port Richey is a fun place to window shop and explore dining options as well. Scallop season is popular in this area if you'd like to rent a boat or go out with a tour group. Fishing is accessible right off our dock and licenses are available online. Guest access Guests have full access to the property besides a small owners closet that remains locked. Other things to note Basic initial supplies are provided and will not be replenished during your stay. The starter set may include paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels), garbage bag, and soap products (hand soap, shampoo, body wash, dish soap). An initial set of linens will be supplied. There is a stackable washer and dryer if you would like to use it during your stay. Smoking and vaping are not allowed indoors. If you choose to smoke/vape outdoors, please be sure you safely dispose of materials and are 20 feet away from any doors or windows that are open, to avoid the need for odor mitigation, which will incur fees.
