With its prime location, this property offers easy access to a variety of outdoor activities, local attractions, and breathtaking natural scenery. Step inside our beautifully designed and decorated home and be greeted by a spacious and open floor plan that seamlessly blends style and comfort. The living room features plush sofas and chairs, a cozy fireplace, and a large flat-screen TV, providing the perfect spot for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, with a kitchen countertop, and a dining table that comfortably seats nine. Whip up your favorite meals and enjoy them with family and friends in the comfort of your own home. Each of the three bedrooms is tastefully decorated with comfortable bedding and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a twin bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The other two bedrooms have a queen-size bed and share a bathroom with a shower. But the real highlight of this property is the outdoor space. Step outside onto the deck and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Relax in the seating area with a cold drink or fire up the propane grill and enjoy a delicious meal in the fresh air... Enjoy a peaceful quiet neighborhood that backs up to a large forest, all while being close to Wintergreen Resort, Massanutten Water park, Charlottesville, Caverns, wineries, breweries, Scenic Natural Blue Ridge Parkway (great central location). this property is the perfect base for exploring all that this beautiful region has to offer. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an action-packed adventure, our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home. During the summer, you’ll have access to the Chestnut Springs Pool on the mountain and the Rodes Farm Pool in the valley. Please note that if you would like to use any of the pools during the summer season, you are required to complete the Guest Registration Form. More information will be provided in the Welcome Digital Guidebook, which you will receive once your booking has been confirmed. Be sure to review all the information provided, as it includes important details regarding pool hours, guest capacity limits, and pool rules. The home is conveniently located near a variety of activities, including hiking, dining, and shopping. Summer is a wonderful time to visit Wintergreen and enjoy the area’s natural beauty. Explore the Blue Ridge Parkway, take in breathtaking views from Wintergreen overlooks, go tubing down the mountain, or enjoy brunch or dinner at the Devil’s Knob Grill. Nearby adventures include hiking Humpback Rocks or The Plunge, swimming and playing at Lake Monacan, visiting Upper Shamokin Falls, attending concerts or theatrical productions, and exploring the Nature Foundation at Wintergreen. Families can also enjoy the “Treehouse,” an activity area for children near the lodge. For older children and teens, Wintergreen offers a large game room (including a mechanical bull ride), mini golf, snow tubing in the winter (or a zip line in the summer), and trampolines. Relax and recharge at the Wintergreen Spa, or enjoy a round of golf at the Stoney Creek Golf Course in the valley. In July and August, Wintergreen hosts a music festival featuring concerts, master classes, and related events, making it a fantastic time to visit. Winter is a popular season at Wintergreen due to its skiing and snowboarding opportunities. During the winter months, chairlift and tubing tickets can sell out quickly, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance through the Wintergreen Resort website. Ski rentals may also need to be reserved ahead of time and are available at The Ski Barn, located at the intersection of Route 151 and Route 664 at the bottom of the mountain. Other things to note Amenities that we offer: 1. Wi-Fi: you will have access to Wi-Fi connection, we understand this is essential for many guests who need to stay connected to work, family, or friends. 2. Bedding and linens: we will provide fresh, clean bedding and linens for a comfortable night's sleep. 3. Toiletries: we take care of basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper so you don't have to worry about bringing these items themselves. 4. Towels: we will provide towels and a hair dryer during your stay. 5. Kitchen essentials: for your convenience we will provide basic cooking supplies like pots and pans, utensils, plates, and glasses. Also, basic spices like salt, pepper, onion, garlic, parsley and cooking oil. 6. Coffee: Many guests appreciate a good cup of coffee in the morning, so we will provide coffee, sugar and a coffee maker. 7. TV and entertainment: We will provide streaming services like Netflix, as well as board games and books for you to enjoy. 8. Air Conditioning & Heating We will do our best to ensure the heating system is set to a comfortable temperature before your arrival. During the winter season, you may occasionally find the thermostat set very low as part of the HOA’s winterization checklist. This is outside of our control; however, we always make every effort to adjust it prior to check-in. If you do arrive and find the temperature set low, please feel free to raise it to your preference upon arrival. The HVAC thermostat is located near the kitchen, and the system responds very quickly. 9. Laundry facilities: you will have access to a washer and dryer, and we will provide a started set of laundry detergent for your convenience. 10. Safety features: the home is equipped with smoke detectors, first aid kit to ensure guests' safety during their stay.
