3-LEVEL CABIN W/ ROOM FOR EVERYONE! This is the perfect cabin if you have a large family, or would like to have multiple families under one roof! Conveniently located close to downtown Twain Harte and you will have private lake privileges. The perfect place to stay after a day at the slopes at Dodge Ridge or hiking countless trails. End your fun-filled day in the expansive open-concept living room or downstairs in the large game room with ping pong table that can fit a crowd! The space Huge and spacious cabin offering open-concept living space. The main level offers level access to the home. Upon entering the home you will find the kitchen, living room, dining room, half bath, deck, and master bedroom with en-suite. The living room has a pullout couch. Upstairs provides a loft (second bedroom) which has. a two twin beds, a pullout couch, and a full bath. There is room for boat parking if you plan to hit the water on your trip. Don't have a boat?! Ask about our boat rental! Guest access Guests have access to the entire home except for the garage and some owner's closets. Other things to note HOLIDAY PRICING Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years week-4 night minimum. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends-3 night minimum. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accommodate check-outs on Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Years day . If this information is overlooked before booking, we will ask you to please cancel on your end as this is notated in our listing. PET POLICY We do allow pets at the lookout cabin (2 dog max) no cats. There is a $100 non refundable pet fee. Please do not leave your furry friends alone at the cabin at any time. Please do not allow pets on the furniture. EXTRA GUESTS: Guest count must be the same as on the reservation. This will help us insure there are enough towels and accommodations for each guest. WI-FI Enjoy high-speed Internet. Stream Netflix or your favorite app on the 55 inch smart TV. NOISE ORDINANCE Sound travels very easily in this area. Please respect the fellow cabins. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8am in this area. No outdoor music is permitted. ITEMS LEFT BEHIND We charge a $20 handling fee, plus the postage and any other costs involved in getting the item/s returned to you. You are welcome to contact us directly to coordinate personal retrieval if item is found upon checkout. BBQ We do provide a gas barbecue located on the deck. Keep in mind that we do not maintain the propane. We recommend you bring up an extra propane tank for backup just in case it runs out. Or you can have the existing exchanged at the Twain Harte Market a few blocks away from the cabin. WINTER TRAVEL In the winter months, we highly recommend that you carry chains and/or have 4 wheel drive. The Black Cedar Retreat is located on simi steep roads and depending on the storm the roads may not be plowed yet. We provide a shovel at the property. If visiting during active snowfall, you might be required to shovel access for parking. IF YOUR STAY IS CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER OR IF THE CABIN IS NOT ACCESSIBLE DUE, TO HEAVY SNOW, WE WILL NOTIFY YOU 24 HOURS BEFORE CHECK IN TO RESCHEDULE YOUR STAY OR ISSUE YOU A REFUND. Winter weather may bring snow. Please note that we do not accept any liability if you’re snowed in/out, experience loss of power, road closures, or other issues out of the host's control. Power outages may happen due to weather, PG&E shut off, etc. If you book the cabin you are accepting these possibilities and will not receive a refund. We recommend all guests get their own trip insurance if you are concerned about these possibilities. We also recommend all guests carry chains in the winter. Please note that snow is not removed from the property by the hosts. However, shovels are provided for guests. Property Insurance Disclosure To ensure a safe and worry-free stay, this property is covered by Safely Insurance. This provides coverage for accidental damage to the property during your stay. A mandatory insurance fee of $10 per day will be added to your booking total. This fee protects you and the property, offering peace of mind while you enjoy your stay.
