Immerse yourself in our tranquil and romantic quiet hamlet getaway! Nestled in the piney woods of the Catskill Mountains sits this picturesque little 1930’s Log Cabin completely renovated in 2021 with an addition of our personal touch throughout. Surrounded by trees & small cabins this cabin keeps its original charm of original all windowed porch, fireplace, as well as it boasts floor to ceiling new Canadian Western Cedar & Brazilian hardwood floors. The space The inside of the cabin is beautifully appointed & full of relaxation. There are 5 rooms in our 600 sq. ft. cabin. You walk into the original 1930’s all windowed porch which is facing a small quiet road with tall trees on the other side. Then there is the living and dining room area with an original fireplace, a new tufted genuine leather loveseat, 43" TV, dining table, hand crafted mahogany bar stools. The bedroom is so cozy, you'll have a great night sleep in our down bedding and 100% organic cotton Boll & Branch sheets. There is a new 42" Samsung TV in the bedroom as well. Our kitchen is not too big, but it has all you need (kitchenware, an electric kettle, silverware, cups and plates, a coffee & tea station) and showcases a 1930’s cast iron farmhouse sink. We are pleased to treat you with ground & whole bean coffee & a variety of teas. Our bathroom is the "spa" area) There is a newly built-in cedar sauna with stones from Finland. You don't even need to bring your toothbrush. We have many amenities for you in the treasure box. A new metal roof professionally installed to enjoy those rainy nights and soothing sounds of rain droplets. Please take a look at our photos with description of the property. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the entire cabin, outside patio & BBQ area as well as the tranquility of the hammock space. Other things to note Cabin Stay Requests: Please do not use real candles in the Cabin - let the flames of your hearts linger on... Please do not smoke in the Cabin, we’re trying to get the Chipmunks to quit... Please no extra visitors/guests/pets... this tango is only for 2... Also, our Cabin is not suitable for children or infants, because there are features that are dangerous for them, such as open fireplace, hot sauna stones, and tall countertops. Please no loud music or parties - the owls will thank you) Please take your shoes off in the cabin. Don't worry, we have new comfortable slippers for you :) Please also take your shoes off when you are using the hammock. It is more comfortable like this, and it will be clean for the next guests to enjoy, too) Since our cabin is built entirely of cedar on the inside, we don't have many spiders/insects. However, if you do encounter a spider (they are harmless) in the cabin, please don't kill him, take him outside, let him free. This is their home too. Please be aware- This is a quiet little hamlet community with the cabins next to us. It does feel secluded thanks to the big trees. We know you will enjoy the serenity of the Cabin. We respectfully ask that you help maintain that peace & respectfulness when you stay. Also note, the cabin is located in a forest mountain reserve, 1270ft above sea level so you just might get a visit from deer, skunks, racoons, woodchucks, rabbits, chipmunks and the bear. :) Thank you!
