The Baltinnas are a pair of adjoining but completely separate lodge style properties. Oozing warmth & character, with a cosy wood-burner stove, this is a truly tranquil holiday retreat for two. The Monadhliath mountains are the backdrop, and an enclosed decked front garden where red squirrels visit. Upstairs there's a deep roll-top bath in the romantic master bedroom to soak those muscles after hill walking! Off-road parking on site. Fast wifi. Downstairs is open plan, with a well-equipped, modern fitted kitchen and a living/dining area where you can put your feet up whilst relaxing with a dram on the chesterfield settee facing the wood burner. Everything you need has been thought of - smart 40" TV with freesat (various streaming services available with your own log-ins) DVD player, excellent wifi, and a selection of local guide books and DVDs, plus portable bluetooth speakers. Upstairs there's a deep roll-top bath in the romantic master bedroom to soak those muscles after walking the local Wildcat trail or bagging a nearby munro or two! Baltinna West has a king size bed with individual flexible reading lights and USB sockets. There's also a shower room with shower, wash hand basin, WC, heated towel rail upstairs (and a separate wc downstairs). The location is fabulous; the village shops and great pubs serving very good food within just two minutes walk. There are excellent restaurants and cafes locally too. This superb property is Visit Scotland 4 star rated. Guests love it and it has exceedingly high feedback. Parking on site (free). Available all year for short breaks too (3 night minimum stay) Baltinna West is fantastic value for couples and solo travellers who don't want or need to book a multiple bedroom, larger and pricier holiday home only to use a small part of it.
