The space Looking for a unique, private, riverfront retreat or the perfect getaway cabin? Privacy abounds the moment you enter the black iron gates and into this ultimate hideaway surrounded by the New River. Start the day with coffee and/or breakfast on the deck listening to the sounds of the river and end your day peacefully in the rocking chairs listening to the sounds of nature, grilling out on the grill provided. Inside, you'll find a great room, along with satellite TV with DVD for entertainment, washer/dryer and a full kitchen. The sleeper sofa offers a place for the children or extra guests. Each room has been quaintly & tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and accessories. Whether you're spending a weekend or a week, you won't want to go back home! Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery. If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days. The fireplace in the living room is for decorative purposes only and is not to be used by guests. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. - AWD or 4WD vehicles required in the winter months -Towels and linens will be provided for you. -This property uses an exterior security camera mounted on the telephone pole which monitors the parking area and driveway. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
