Nestled in the woods on the shores of Black Lake this rustic waterfront cottage has a large screened porch, 2 bedrooms & 1 bath in the main cottage (530 sq ft) and a separate bunk house (100 sq ft). Two firepits. Dock. BBQ. Canoe. Peddle boat. Lawn games. Camping atmosphere in rear of house and lake vibes in front of house. Fully stocked kitchen. Linens, towels, toiletries all provided. Washer & Dryer. Behaved dogs welcome! **Please note: Lake is not ideal for swimming at the shore. This is a cottage/camp in a woodsy area on a lake. There is lots of nature around! Fish to catch, birds to watch, mosquitoes to smush… we treat for insects, pests, and critters but we do not have the ability to control Mother Nature. There will be some gnats, mosquitoes, and flies due to the wooded lake location. We provide mosquito repellant and bug spray. The house itself has room to sleep 6 (1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 1 queen futon) & the bunkhouse has 6 twin beds. There is a step down to access the living room, one bedroom and the porch. There is one step up to the bunkhouse. There is also an unpaved incline to reach the dock/lake. You will have the property to yourselves. All we ask is that after 10pm you are respectful of the neighbors. We live 55 minutes away from the property, so if you need us we can be there within an hour - but otherwise we will let you just enjoy the house and your vacation on your own. We are always available by phone or though airbnb for any questions, recommendations, or any thing else you might need. Wid-Nick Acres is a private subdivision along the southeastern part of Black Lake. It is secluded and has lots of tree coverage. The neighbors are all friendly. There is a boat launch within the subdivision - you just cannot leave a car parked there once you launch. There is one main gravel road into the property. It’s easy to miss - it’s directly across from the Blue house near the Pope Mills sign. Please do not drive over 15mph on any roads in Wid-Nick Acres. As you drive down you will pass two curved road mirrors then see a yellow 'hidden driveway' sign after a straigh-away. Bear right at that driveway. We are the 2nd driveway on the left. The sign says ‘Spinner Camp’. There is a private driveway at 110 and it can hold 10+ cars and/or a camper, trailer, boat. The house is on the small side - This is an area meant for outdoor enjoyment. We have a very large extended family and have stayed here with 15+ people and had a fabulous time. It's what you make it! There is no wifi. Verizon cell service works great. Other cell providers do not.
