The house is beautifully appointed with stone and wood details combined with all modern amenities for a comfortable yet charming feel. The house is located in the town of Lake George. Shops and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away, yet the area feels peaceful and secluded. **2026 update- we have a finished basement that offers a warm, woodsy hangout with a game table and comfy TV area! The space The home is cozy, perfectly appointed for a weekend where you want to get away from it all in the woods, yet located minutes from Lake George Village and close to nearby Bolton Landing, Saratoga and Glens Falls! Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home - full size washer and dryer (with complementary detergent provided) is located in the basement. Pollywood dining table for 6 set up on a brand new patio just steps from the home. Steps away and next to the hot tub, Adirondack chairs are arranged to surround a built in stone fire pit (s’mores kit provided as well!), hammock and hot tub (year round) are all available for your seasonal outdoor enjoyment! Fully appointed kitchen with all utensils, pots, pans and bakeware you might need. We also have a limited supply of starter basics like paper towels, sponge, tinfoil, Saran Wrap and ziplocks (as we always find them helpful to have when traveling!) We keep stocked handsoap, dish soap and dishwasher tabs, as well as all cleaning supplies (if needed during your stay) and trash bags. Other things to note We are dog friendly, but ask that you please make sure to register them in your booking. This enables us to ensure the house is properly sanitized for pet hair prior to future guest stays. We do offer access to an all season hot tub. The temperature ranges between 100-104 (maximum) degrees Fahrenheit. WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR HOT TUB AND AMENITIES: Guests understand that there are special health risks that may be involved in using the hot tub, as well as safety risks using other areas of the cabin (fire pit and barbecue as examples). In particular, he or she understands that there are potential dangers that these amenities may present to children who are not carefully supervised as well as danger to any person using the hot tub if a person has health risks, is intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or if pregnant. The hot tub should be kept at a temperature that is less than 104 for personal safety. Guest agrees to explain the risks of using the amenities and hot tub to any guests at the cabin and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents, medical conditions or injuries his or her guests may incur. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that he or she will assume all responsibility for his or herself and their guests for the consequences of those risks.
