The space Welcome to our recently remodeled 1 bedroom oasis, boasting mid-century modern charm. The queen size bed has an amazingly comfortable mattress made by Sealy Posturpedic with gel foam. The southwest inspired bathroom with plenty of storage has a signed cowboy print to set the tone. Relax in the open-plan living/kitchen area, featuring a cozy electric fireplace and a special-ordered sofa sleeper for added comfort. Enjoy full sized appliances and two streaming-only TV's, including a 55" and a 46" for entertainment. Step outside to your private yard with a large swing-cum-daybed, perfect for lazy afternoons, and a fire pit/table for outdoor dining and s'mores under the stars. (We are a dark sky community.) Play corn hole by the lower retaining wall, illuminated for evening fun. The patio offers a prime spot for sunrise views and morning coffee. (Use either the Keurig or drip coffee makers.) Guests may notice occasional construction noise during daytime hours as a home up the road is being built. However, the lots in the area are spacious, with a rural feel, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting despite the construction. The large lot sizes (2 acres or more) also offer privacy and space between other properties, creating a serene environment for guests to enjoy. Overall, while there may be some temporary inconvenience to the construction, the benefits of being in this spacious and rural neighborhood outweigh any potential noise disturbances. Guest access All the space is accessible to the guests. The driveway, immediate yard, patio and interior all belong to the guests. Though we live on site, we do NOT share any spaces. We give guests complete privacy. Other things to note We require government ID. We must have a copy before checking in. The platform does not share their information, so you must send it to the host via the app. State law requires us to do background checks. Guests staying a week or longer will be given enough supplies (coffee, TP, etc) for 7 days and will be expected to furnish their own after that. The driveway is wide and can accommodate two vehicles. Driveway lights come on at sunset and there are no streetlights so it’s extremely dark! Just be aware the driveway is gravel. Please pull up to the gate where the sidewalk begins. Floodlights come on after dark as soon as motion is detected, but you MUST be near the gate. The gate needs to be kept closed due to wildlife in the area. There is a partially enclosed porch with trellises and ivy on the other two sides where guests can store bikes, kayaks and other equipment during their visit. Store at your own risk. Photos of accessories/bedding may change due to seasons and may be different than when booked. The yard also will change with the seasons. We take a time stamped video of the entire unit, interior and exterior, prior to the arrival of each guest. The house rules state no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes, and it should be noted that includes the entire property. It is a fire hazard. Also, no candles or matches. No hair dye or glitter products are allowed anyplace. The housekeeper will assess an additional fee for the time it takes to clean or replace items damages from either one. We are located in the county, just outside Cottonwood city limits. The sales tax is over 3% less, and can be a considerable savings. **We highly recommend you purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE due to many unknown factors outside your control. License #21442071.
