This home is located just steps away from the banks of the Missouri River, in the small town of Lupus, MO. The property is surrounded by nature and many beautiful flower gardens. Lupus has as much charm as the house. Sit on the porch and watch fireflies in the evening, relax on the deck or grab a seat by the river! The space Nestled in the rolling hills and trees of the surrounding Missouri River valley, you’ll find yourself just steps away from the gently rolling “Big Muddy” aka the Missouri River. As majestic as it is wide, the river has a ever calming presence. If it’s rest and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of life your looking for, you’ll certainly find it here! Very quiet and peaceful, with the exception of the occasional passing train, guest continue to rave that this is the place to escape it all and relax! The house was built in 1904 and has been fully remodeled, but yet done so in a way to maintain its historical features and elegant charm! You truly will be transported back in time, yet still enjoy the modern comforts of home. Please note* this is a rural setting next to a river and there are insects and other wildlife present!! Guest access You will have the entire property to yourself! This includes the house, large parking areas, large back yard, deck and porch area, as well as the surrounding flower gardens and outdoor spaces. Other things to note We own 3 properties all side by side on the same street. All 3 properties backyards are connected and have lavish gardens filled with flower beds, a rose garden with church pew, green house, multiple fire pits, and water features. There are both gas and charcoal grills on site for guest use, as well as picnic tables on the property and park benches down by the river front! The town has a population of just 33 but packs a big punch, there is an old general store, the old brick bank, the river front park area, and information about the Lewis and Clark trail. Many have said you can just “feel the history in the air” as you wander the streets. Oh and if you see a neighbor sitting out on their porch swing, or in an old rocking chair, be sure to say hi, our neighbors love meeting our guests!!
