The Harbour Hermitage - Historic Ashtabula Harbor

The Harbour Hermitage is a home dedicated to comfort & relaxation. 5 miles off Rt. 90, it is close to EVERYTHING- 1/2 mile to Lake Shore Park and the boat ramps; 3/4 mile to Historic Ashtabula Harbor -and fishing charters; 1.4 miles to Walnut Beach; 19 minutes(17 miles) to Spire and also to Conneaut Township park. Geneva on the Lake is about 17 minutes (9.2 miles)from the home (depending on Bascule Bridge, which goes up on the half hour). Fishermen and families are welcome! The space The living room is spacious with a comfortable couch, chaise and side chair. There is also a 55 inch ROKU tv. There is a desk in the living room where you can connect directly to the Ethernet to work. The kitchen is fully stocked from wine glasses to a crock pot. There are seasonings and olive oil in the cupboard. The dining room has a beautiful Amish-made cherry table with seating for 4. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master has a 1/2 bath. The main bathroom has shampoo and body wash in the shower. There is ‘shout’ in the cupboard that you are welcome to use to ward off stains. A non-smoking home, there is a ‘butt can’ outside upon request. Please be sure to keep the door closed so the smoke doesn’t get into the home. We offer a pack and play, if you are bringing a small child. Just bring your child’s favorite blanket. Guest access The door closest to the garage is pass-coded. It opens to a hallway that goes to a door to the house. The hallway has a motion light that comes on as soon as you open the door.. There is one step up into our home. There is a grab bar next to the step. This is a non smoking property- no smoking of any kind inside the house or garage. If you smoke outside, please close the door to the house. There is a “butt bucket” available upon request. Please empty before you leave. Smoking, in the house, (of any kind) will result in a $250 fee. This is a no-party home, unless requested. We understand friends and families getting together when you visit, but please notify us if that is going to happen and if there will be additional guests spending the night, as a result. Under our agreement with Airbnb we need to know about additional guests. Thank you for understanding. Other things to note Our room rates include the 8% bed tax, which is required by the city and county. If you are going to use the washer and dryer, you need to bring your own supplies. Please clean the lint filter on the dryer with each load. In the summer we have a basket with beach towels in it for you to use when you go to the lake.
