Inside, the warmth of the gas fireplace invites you to slow down, sip coffee, and take in the quiet rhythm of the shoreline. Evenings settle gently here, with shifting skies over the marina and the steady comfort of a well-appointed waterfront home. Living space Set directly along the water in San Rafael, this entire waterfront home offers room to spread out while staying connected. Large windows frame marina and canal views, filling the living areas with natural light during the day and creating a cozy backdrop for evenings indoors. A gas fireplace anchors the main living space, and a 45-inch HDTV with Roku, record player, PS3, and board games make relaxed nights in easy and comfortable. WiFi and a dedicated workspace in a room with a door support work or study when needed. Sleeping arrangements The home accommodates up to 8 guests across three separate bedrooms. Each bedroom is prepared with bed linens, room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage. The primary bedroom opens to a private balcony overlooking the water, offering a quiet place to pause at the start or end of the day. Two full bathrooms serve the home, including a bathtub and bathroom essentials. Kitchen and dining The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and shared meals. You have a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking basics, along with a dining table for gathering indoors. Coffee is available, and the kitchen flows easily into the main living space, keeping everyone connected during meals. Outdoor living Just outside, the private patio and fully fenced backyard sit right at the water’s edge. A fire pit, outdoor furniture, and BBQ grill create a comfortable setting for cooler afternoons and evenings. From the private dock, you can access the kayak or simply sit and watch the water pass by. The waterfront setting lends itself to birdwatching, fishing, and peaceful moments outdoors throughout the year. Family-friendly comforts Traveling with little ones is made easier with a crib and Pack ’n Play available upon request, along with children’s books, toys, dinnerware, baby safety gates, and a baby monitor. A washer and dryer are available in the home, adding convenience for longer stays. Practical details Free parking on the premises is provided, with two off-street spaces available. Street parking is not permitted for short-term guests. The home is pet-friendly, with assistance animals always allowed. Self check-in is offered via a smart lock, and luggage dropoff is available for early arrivals or late departures. Exterior security cameras are installed around the front, sides, backyard, and dock for safety. Neighborhood Located between San Francisco and Wine Country, the home offers easy access to waterfront walking paths and open green spaces nearby. A public park with a playground sits across the street, and the Golden Gate Ferry terminal is a short drive away, connecting you directly to the city while you enjoy a quieter waterfront setting. For transparency, exterior security cameras are present around the front, sides, backyard, and dock areas and may be in operation at any time. Practical details The home is pet-friendly and includes two off-street parking spots in a 22-foot driveway. Street parking is not permitted for short-term guests per city ordinance. Self check-in is provided through a smart lock. Luggage dropoff is allowed for early arrivals or late departures, and cleaning during the stay is available. Exterior security cameras face the front, sides, backyard, and dock. A refundable security deposit, rental agreement, and government-issued ID verification are required, with a maximum of 8 guests per city permit. Early check-ins $50 per hour prior to 4pm, minimum $100 charge. Exceptions for 3pm check-in may be available upon request without additional charge. Always happy to take luggage early, no charge. Late checkout $50/hr after 11am if approved in advance, otherwise $100/hr or fraction there of until no one of your group is on the property.
