Evenings invite you indoors to the warmth of the gas fireplace or outside to gather near the fire pit, with the sounds of the water close by. Set along the waterfront in San Rafael, this home offers a calm, grounded stay between San Francisco and Wine Country. The space With 2,244 square feet of living space, the home accommodates up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, and 2 baths. Large windows bring in natural light throughout the day, while the indoor fireplace creates a comfortable place to settle in after time outdoors. A dedicated workspace in a room with a door provides a quiet area for focus when needed. Entertainment options include a 45 inch HDTV with Roku, a record player, a game console: PS3, board games, and exercise equipment. Sleeping arrangements Each bedroom is arranged with comfort in mind, featuring soft linens, room-darkening shades, and clothing storage. Extra pillows and blankets are available, and the primary bedroom opens onto a private balcony overlooking the water. For families, a crib and Pack ’n play/Travel crib - available upon request, along with children’s books and toys, children’s dinnerware, a baby monitor, and baby safety gates, help make the space adaptable for younger guests. Kitchen and dining The kitchen offers a full space where guests can cook their own meals, with a dining table for shared gatherings. Coffee is available, along with a coffee maker: drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee machine. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or carried outside when preferred. Outdoor setting The waterfront location places you right next to a body of water, with marina view and canal view extending from the property. A private patio or balcony and private backyard – fully fenced create space to step outside and take in the surroundings. The backyard includes outdoor furniture, a fire pit, BBQ grill, and kayak for time spent along the water’s edge. Practical details The home includes free washer – in unit and free dryer – in unit, along with wifi and a private entrance for added convenience. Free parking on premises is available, with two off-street parking spaces. Self check-in is provided via smart lock, and luggage dropoff allowed supports early arrivals or late departures. Cleaning available during stay can be arranged. The property is pet-friendly, and assistance animals are always allowed. Neighborhood Positioned between San Francisco and Wine Country, the location offers access to both city outings and quieter waterfront spaces. The nearby Golden Gate Ferry terminal provides a direct route into San Francisco, while surrounding areas invite walking, jogging, and time spent along the water. Note: The home is pet-friendly and includes two off-street parking spots in a 22-foot driveway. Street parking is not permitted for short-term guests per city ordinance. Self check-in is provided through a smart lock. Luggage dropoff is allowed for early arrivals or late departures, and cleaning during the stay is available. Exterior security cameras face the front, sides, backyard, and dock. A refundable security deposit, rental agreement, and government-issued ID verification are required, with a maximum of 8 guests per city permit. Early check-ins $50 per hour prior to 4pm, minimum $100 charge. Exceptions for 3pm check-in may be available upon request without additional charge. Always happy to take luggage early, no charge. Late checkout $50/hr after 11am if approved in advance, otherwise $100/hr or fraction there of until no one of your group is on the property.
