Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home nestled in the woods of the Texas Hill Country. You'll have over 5 acres of fully-fenced privacy. Enjoy rustic life or take a one-hour drive to Austin or San Antonio. Wimberley, New Braunfels, and San Marcos are only 30 minutes away. The house is fully furnished and comes with everything you need to enjoy a weekend getaway or a longer stay. The space The house has a large combined kitchen and living room area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms available for guests. The kitchen is large and spacious and allows for easily cooking meals. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Two covered porches the entire length of the house allow you to enjoy the outdoors while eating or just having a drink. A charcoal grill and outdoor dining furniture are provided as well as a fire pit. The master bedroom has a queen bed and attached bathroom (en suite) with a large tiled shower area and a double sink vanity. The second bathroom has a tub with a shower. The second bedroom also has a queen bed. The main attraction is you will have over 5 fully-fenced acres to yourself. While in and around the house and on the porches, you won't be able to see the neighbors and they won't be able to see you. No guests other than those in your group will be on the property during your stay. The Hosts will also not be on the property during your stay. Need to do laundry? No problem. There is a laundry room attached to the kitchen with a new washer and dryer. Detergent is supplied for two loads of laundry. Tired of staying inside? Take a stress-relieving walk on the fully-fenced five acres. Guest access Access to the property is provided through a private road off of Misty Hollow. Guests may park in a nook in the road adjacent to the front porch of the property or anywhere on the private road. Please do not park on grass, trees, and shrubs. Other things to note The kitchen is great for cooking with a large island and many small appliances including an excellent coffee maker, a blender, and a versatile toaster oven/air fryer. A water softener along with a reverse-osmosis filter produces great tasting water for your coffee, tea, cooking, and drinking. Water is provided from an on-site private well. The water is softened and further filtered for drinking. Wastewater is processed by an on-site septic system. The property has two queen beds and a cot. Guests can also sleep on the couch in the living room which can accommodate one (1) adult and one (1) child. Please also note the following before booking: 1. The property can accommodate seven (7) guests with six (6) adults maximum. There are two (2) queen beds, one (1) cot, and a large sectional. The sectional is located in the living room and can accommodate one (1) adult and one (1) child. 2. A pet fee per night does apply and shall be paid to the Host prior to check-in. The pet fee is $40/night per pet with a maximum total fee of $500 per month. A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed. This fee does not apply when not legally allowed to be applied for service animals. Please read the house rules for additional rules for pets. 3. There is limited cellular reception at the house. Depending on your carrier, you may not get cellular reception. Please use the Wi-fi provide to make phone calls using FaceTime, Whats-app, or another app to make calls using the internet. Using your mobile phone near the main road (Misty Hollow) usually improves cellular reception. 4. Provided consumables (soap, shampoo, lotion, toilet paper, condiments, coffee, charcoal, etc.) will last about 3 days depending on the number of guests and the rate of use. After this period, guests need to provide their own consumables. In addition, wood for the fire pit and fireplace is not provided. The hosting service provided with respect to supplies is not like that of a hotel. Also, no hotel services with respect to periodic cleaning and trash removal are provided after guest check-in. 5. Though the house is only one story, there are a few steps that need to be climbed to get on and off the front and back porches. 6.
