Gracemere Farmstead Unit

Come and enjoy your stay at Gracemere Farmstead, a working regenerative family farm located just 15 minutes from Casino and 25 mins from Lismore, NSW. Situated on 100 acres there is a multitude of animals to enjoy including donkeys, sheep, chickens, pigs, cows and more. Every morning you can come along on the animal feeding tour to meet the animals up close and learn all about their unique characteristics and habits. The space The farmstay unit contains a double bed, sofa bed (double) and two bunk beds suitable for smaller children. The kitchenette contains a small fridge, sink and eating utensils. There is a TV with the regular channels. It opens onto a fenced garden and grassy area. The unit contains its own private toilet and shower. There is a gas heater for heating in this unit and there is also a ceiling fan. Gracemere Farmstead is a regenerative farm and guests are welcome to explore the property, keeping an eye out for our amazing natural bird life and wildlife. Guests are welcome to join us every morning when we feed and interact with the animals. This usually commences at 8am. This is a big highlight of many guests’ stay. Other things to note We are a working farm so there is potential for some noise. We also ask that guests do not enter into any paddocks unless they are on the farm tour to keep our guests and the farm animals safe. We are a working farm so there is potential for some noise. We are a completely off-grid property unconnected to the grid. This means: You can charge small electronic devices like your mobile phone, but it’s best to conserve power as much as possible as the battery storage is limited. You won’t want to run out of power at night. All units are equipped with ceiling fans. The Guest Wing has ducting from the main house’s wood fire to take the chill off the air. The Farmstay unit has a gas heater. The East Wing has a wood fire (BYO wood). We have a well-equipped Camp Kitchen for guests to use (no cooking in the units). The Camp Kitchen has a large gas oven and cooktop, washing-up facilities, picnic tables and firepit area. Please BYO firewood. When there has been limited sunshine the generator will come on. Occasionally during the night the power may go off and will not go back on till early morning. Registration Details Exempt
