Enjoy the beautiful sierras with the whole family at this stylish mountain chalet. This home is newly furnished and updated with a focus on both comfort and style. Get comfortable in the expansive couch in the family room and watch a movie by the fireplace, or relax under the trees on the back deck with your favorite book. Centrally located close to town. In the summer, Shaver Lake is 5 minutes away and in the winter the ski slopes are 30 minutes away at China Peak Ski Resort. The space We provide regular coffee and a few coffee makers to choose from (french presses, pour over and a regular coffee pot). There is a gas fireplace and central heat as well. Two sleds are provided in the garage - be sure you stop by any store in town for a snow park permit before heading up to Tamarack or Coyote Snow Parks. The house has beach towels for your use in the summertime. Fresh bed linens and towels are provided for your stay and there is a washer and dryer for your use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home, including a 4-burner electric stove/oven, BBQ propane grill, dishwasher, microwave, griddle, pots & pans, baking ware, cooking and eating utensils, olive oil, salt and pepper, plates, cups, wine glasses, bottle and wine openers. The interior has a bedroom on the first floor (accessible by stairs through the front door) with two more bedrooms upstairs. You cannot access the house without the stairs. The back deck has less steps, but that portion of the property can be covered in snow in the winter. We provide plenty of board games, card games, dominoes, etc. for all age levels. We also have two televisions that have all of the subscription services to log into to view what you'd like. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and property. There’s a convenient driveway with room for two vehicles (please keep to two vehicles only and do not park in the inner loop). The grounds are not fenced and wildlife do periodically wander through. Do not leave pets, children or food unattended. Other things to note QUIET HOURS: This is a very quiet neighborhood, no parties/loud music. Quiet hours enforced 10 pm-8 am. If you have a party, law enforcement will be called, you will be asked to leave. Thank you for keeping our neighborhood peaceful & relaxing. PARKING: No more than 2 vehicles in the driveway and no parking on the road (especially in the winter!). PETS: Pets MAY be permitted for a flat additional $100 fee. Please discuss bringing your pet with you BEFORE your stay so that we can arrange a deeper cleaning to remove pet hair between guests. CAMPFIRES: Due to the devastating 2020 Camp Fire, outdoor fires of any kind are a huge risk. No outdoor fires are permitted.
