(The Salty Hideaway) The space The openness of this home is its best feature. Large open kitchen with huge island & extra large sliding glass doors that open to an outdoor pool side living area. The smart TV on patio makes it ideal to swim, grill out, fish and watch TV all while still outdoors enjoying the very best of the Nature Coast. From scalloping in the summer to swimming with manatees in the winter to kayaking, bird watching & shopping or antiquing there is literally something for everyone in your party. Make yourself comfortable in any of the three spacious bedrooms. This large 3 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home sleeps 8 people. (max adults 6, adult age is 13 yrs or older). The gorgeous, L shaped heated pool overlooks the wide deep water canal. Bring your boat or you can launch our kayaks right from the floating dock. There is a boat launch just 3 minutes away from the property. Upon walking in to the open living dining area you will be drawn to the large sliding doors leading you out to the beautiful pool and water. Comfortable beds in all bedrooms will insure a great nights sleep after long days playing in the Florida sun. The master bedroom boast a large king size bed & en suite bathroom. All other bedrooms have comfortable queen beds. A full hall bathroom is located between the two extra rooms. All of our bedrooms have large TV's with standard cable for your enjoyment. In the living room you will find a twin size trundle bed that sleeps two, perfect for children. The screened in sunroom/Lanai has a large flat screen smart TV that overlooks the pool, water and floating dock. Perfect for hanging out at the pool after a long day on the water. The back and side yards are completely fenced in. There is a large 2 car garage with plenty of storage. There is room in the driveway for two vehicles & a boat trailer. Please NO PARKING IN GARAGE, GRASS, or STREET AREAS. This home is located on a deep canal with Gulf access. VERY large boats access this canal easily. There is one bridge going out to the Gulf but it is 40 feet high so NO height restrictions. The house is about 5 miles from the scalloping grounds & approximately 5-10 minutes drive from King’s Bay, 3 sisters springs, and hunter springs and 35 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico by boat (its a NO WAKE ZONE in the River, please be careful with manatees!!!). Fort Island Beach is also very close by, and we highly recommend seeing a sunset there! If you love fishing/scalloping, this is the place to be! Crystal River has the best Scalloping grounds in the US., the best action is usually in 4-6 feet of water around Gomez Rocks at Latitude 2829.8, Longitude 8243.7. Offshore, there is shallow and deep water fishing. In the area there are large sailfin, catfish, sheepshead, red snapper, snook & redfish. You can also catch freshwater bass and trap blue crabs off the dock. The house is only a short walk from the Crystal River State Park Reserve and the Mullet Hole fishing spot. The pool spa at this property is NOT a hot tub/jacuzzi. The "spa" does not heat up above the temperature of the pool. This is only a decorative feature. ** Fireplace is a decorative fireplace only. Not a working fireplace. ** Pool heater is set to 84 degrees. Only in winter. ** Maximum guest count is 8, max adults during one stay is 6. Children age is 0-12. Anyone 13 and over is considered an "adult sized". ** Quiet Hours are 9:30pm - 8:00am, strictly enforced. ** This IS FLORIDA, We have bugs all year! NO screen or enclosure will ever prevent bugs from getting in. Plan accordingly. Bring bug spray** **DO NOT Swim in the canal..... We DO NOT RECCOMMEND! Alligators are present in the area.** ** ONE boat per stay allowed on property. ** ** NO RV parking on premises. ** ** NO parking any vehicle, boat or trailer in GARAGE, Any GRASS area, or in the STREET. Neighborhood streets are very narrow, making it difficult if trailers or trucks need to pass through. Our housekeepers time is valuable and she needs all the allotted time to properly clean the house for the next guest. Other things to note * Gov. issued Photo ID Required by owners to be uploaded or sent directly to us. * This is a NON SMOKING/VAPING PROPERTY, including enclosed patio and screened in pool area at all times. * Pool is set to a heat temp of 84 degrees in winter months only. Pool cover provided to keep pool warm while not in use. * No parking of cars, trucks or trailers on any grass areas, street or garage. * No RV parking on premises. *NO PETS ALLOWED * * Max guest count is 8, max adults 6.
