Stay at the Base Camp House in the heart of downtown Mount Shasta! After a day adventuring on the trails, slopes, mountains, or lakes, celebrate with great food, a new hot tub & the full mountain town experience staying in a modern house remodel on historic main street, Mount Shasta Boulevard! Walk to everything downtown including outdoor gear shops, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants or pick up fresh local organic food at the Berryvale Grocery Store and craft a meal in the stocked kitchen. The space Our home can support up to 7 guests (including the remodeled basement), and guests will have access to all the main floor amenities, including the fabulous hot tub on the back patio. The main floor includes a bedroom with a queen bed, laundry in the hallway, a full bathroom with a tub and shower stocked with supplies, another half bath and bedroom with 2 bunk beds with a double and a twin on each, a living room with a couch, ottoman (with games inside) and TV, a dining room table, and a stocked kitchen ready for you to cook a favorite dish. The basement was recently remodeled and includes a queen bed, kitchenette, full bathroom, small dining area, and TV. Guest access UPSTAIRS ACCESS (1st Floor): The main floor includes the fabulous hot tub on the back patio, a bedroom with a queen bed, laundry in the hallway, a full bathroom with a tub and separate shower stocked with supplies, another half bedroom with 2 bunk beds with a double and a twin on each, a living room with a couch, ottoman (with games inside) and TV, a dining room table, and a kitchen ready for you to cook a favorite dish. DOWNSTAIRS ACCESS: Bookings with 6 guests or more automatically get access to the basement. It’s newly remodeled with a queen bed, full kitchenette, full bathroom, small dining area, and TV. If you have less than 6 guests but still want to book the basement, message us (inquiry) and we will walk you through reserving the basement for your stay. PARKING: There is space for one vehicle in the driveway and then street parking after that. We share a driveway with our neighbor behind the house. If you park in the driveway, please do not block the garage. Pull up and to the right so the neighbor can get out. You can also park on the street when it’s NOT snowing. If it’s snowing, park your second vehicle on a nearby side street (off S Mount Shasta Blvd). Other things to note You are so close to many of Mt Shasta's favorite spots! -Pipeline (6-minute walk) - Mt Shasta's top restaurant for dinner! -Yak's Shack (2-min drive or 7-minute walk) - coffee, breakfast burritos & craft burgers -Starbucks (2-minute drive) -Alua's Thrive Bar (2-minute drive) - excellent kombucha, acai bowls & smoothies -Berryvale Grocery (Across the Street) - gourmet organic groceries & goods -The Fifth Season (1 min drive) - all the outdoor gear you'll need to rent or buy -Papa's Donuts (7-minute walk) - go early, they sell out daily -The Garden Tap (4-minute drive) - beer garden & wood-fired pizza -Seven Suns Coffee & Cafe (14-minute walk) - really good breakfast burritos -Mt Shasta Supermarket (5-minute walk) - good deli sandwiches made to order & BBQ on the weekends -Sisson Meadow trail (4-minute walk) - picnic spot with views of Mt Shasta -Mt Shasta City Park (4-minute drive) - drink straight from the stream of the naturally filtered Headwaters of the Sacramento River "Big Springs" -Mt Shasta Ski Park (18-minute drive) - resort skiing/snowboarding -Lake Siskiyou (6-minute drive) - swimming, picnics, standup paddle-boarding
