Within 5 miles of 3 public boat ramps and a stones throw from Gunter's Landing Golf course, you won't need to go far to get your boat in the water or drop that birdie on a Par 4. At night, enjoy dinner and drinks at the new City Harbor event center only minutes away or relax by the fire overlooking the peaceful landscape. With expanded parking for more than 3 boats, Hilltop Retreat is perfect for fishing groups and families. The space Enjoy over an acre of private land. During the winter, views of the lake can be seen from the master bedroom, both bathrooms and back deck. You will have the entire property to yourself, so please take advantage of the unique space available. From the back deck to the hammock to the stone walls scattered all around the property you will be sure to find the perfect place to relax from your day on the water or visiting many of local attraction. A few of the many places to visit include Highfalls Park, Guntersville State Park for hiking and zipline adventures or the local breweries. Guest access Main access is through the carport entrance. You will be issued an unique code for access using a Wi-Fi smart deadbolt that will be usable at 4:00pm day of check-in and 10:00am day of check-out. Front door is used for wheelchair access. French doors to the back deck also have a built in ramp so everyone in your group can enjoy everything this property has to offer. In addition, the first bathroom has been remodeled for better access for guests with disabilities. Other things to note - Please use carport entrance. Front door is for wheelchair access. - Upon arriving, please walk the property and take pictures of any damages, soiled fabrics, or messes that either the last guests or cleaners have left behind to avoid charges during your stay. - TVs are set up with Roku, bring your own login to watch all your favorites. - Wi-Fi is 1Gb to handle all devices on property with amazing speed. - A dehumidifier is available. If used the water must be removed and dumped down the tub drain. - Twin beds can be put together to make an additional King size bed upon request. - Firewood is provided for your enjoyment of the firepit, please message if it is too low for you or the next guest to use. Feel free to use loose sticks in the yard to start your fire. Follow all local burn restrictions. - Be sure to turn off grill both on tank and on grill knobs. If one tank runs empty, please let me know and I will bring a fresh tank. Two are left at all times for plenty of use. - Two (2) Cameras are located on property, no cameras are facing social areas for your privacy. • Carport facing the street and back deck facing the stairs - While I do have pest control both inside and outside the home, it is inevitable for you to see some unwanted animals. These may include bugs, birds, wasps, bees, ants, chipmunks, mice, spiders, and snakes. - If you are lucky enough to be visiting while the fruit trees are ripening, feel free to have a few and save a few for other guests. - Parking in grass on empty lot is allowed as long as its not wet from rain and tire marks do not create ruts in the yard. - House cleaning will be provided every 2 weeks for longer stays in order to keep the home in it's best condition. An additional cleaning fee will be charged for this service. - Due to a large hole located next to AC unit in back yard a temporary covering has been made. Although it is strong enough to hold an adult male, no guests are allowed on, near or to move the covering. Most of all, I want to provide a beautiful, comfortable home where you can recharge and relax. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I enjoyed renovating this home myself. I plan to work as hard for you as a host as I did with expanding the shower, dry-walling the laundry room and rebuilding the deck.
