Welcome to The Moon’s Beam House. Located only 7 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the landmarks that the High Dessert has to offer or stay in and enjoy the company of your loved ones, The Moon’s Beam House is a perfect option for your dessert getaway. If you’re a star lover, turn off the lights, lay on our outdoor bed, and admire the night sky. Catch a shooting star… or keep an eye out for not-so-unusual activity… I look forward to being your host! The space Our fully remodeled home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Two of the bedrooms have Queen beds and the master bedroom has a King bed. Other sleeping arrangement include a queen size inflating mattress and our couch, which both are very comfortable! Our home can host up to 10 of your family and friends if two are willing to sleep on our very comfortable couch or inflatable queen bed. You can also enjoy the fully working kitchen with all the amenities that can make your stay the most comfortable and fun: Refrigerator Stove Dishwasher Microwave Toaster Oven Coffee Maker Pots and pans Cooking utensils Sharp-set of knives The bathrooms come with essentials such as towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience. We also have a Smart TV in the living room. You are more than welcome to log in to your favorite streaming services, just don't forget to log off! :) All rooms have Mini Split units (AC) which you can control with a remote located in each area. For heating, you can use our heating central unit which you can control through the thermostat located in the hallway. In case you need to do laundry, we have a washer and dryer in the garage. In the private backyard, you can find a Queen bed where you can lie down and stargaze! There’s also a stone fireplace with 2 benches and 2 hammocks! Note: Pets are allowed with a $25.00 per pet. Keypad lock to the front door and to the garage where we recommend that you park (2-car space). Other things to note Please review the guest guide on the side table in the living room to help you get familiar with the house: 1. The house is on septic so its important to review the list of things you cant put in the sink and toilets. 2. To be respectful to our neighbors no loud music or noises outside of the house after 9pm during weekdays and 10pm during weekends. 3. If you’re going to be using the firepit, make sure the fire is never unattended and fire is put out before anyone goes to bed. - Please put ashes in ash can. - Please keep all windows and sliding door closed when a fire is burning in the fire pit to avoid smoke smell from entering the house. 4. We have a ring surveillance camera that records all motion in the front of the house. Please be respectful of the neighborhood. 5. No smoking inside is allowed in our property. Due to the current pandemic, we have enhanced our existing cleaning protocols. In addition to our comprehensive cleanings between every stay, all surfaces inside the house, including door handles, light switches, counters and tabletops, devices, handrails, and appliances, are cleaned with a CDC-approved disinfectant.
