Shady Point Resort - Rustic Beachfront Cottage

**NEWLY RENOVATED FOR 2024!** This spacious and rustic, well-maintained 3-bedroom cottage has a screened-in porch where you can enjoy the tranquil waters of the over 75 ft of BEACHFRONT right outside your door! This cottage is situated on the peaceful Upper Buckhorn Lake. It has its own private fireplace and BBQ. It also has a beautiful beach. - Kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards - Satellite TV & BBQ - Docks for your boat, large boat ramp, boat rentals available onsite - Lazy river The space Welcome to the Canadiana! Enjoy this rustic waterfront cottage. It has a beautiful private beach with 70ft of waterfront about 50 ft away from the cottage. About half or 30ft of the beach is reserved just for you (the Canadiana) You and the kids will love the lazy river and fishing right at your doorstep Minimal weeds in the water. The lake has a nice, sandy/rock bottom with shallow entry and a gentle stream great for kids and adults looking to explore and unwind. The depth is still only 4-5 feet at the end of the docks. Our resort: We have been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Making great memories for our guests. We rent the cottage for full weeks only in July and August starting Saturdays. We understand pets are a part of the family, however for the comfort of our guests we only allow small dogs (Maximum 25lbs) with a maximum of 1 pet per cottage. Thank you for understanding. Guest access Will have access to your own private waterfront as well as shared services: - Private Beach - 70ft waterfront with a swim out Jump pad (30ft specific to the Canadiana cottage) - shared 100ft Dock with electricity, 25ft dock to park your boat - Park for children - Badminton court - 3 Kayaks and 2 paddle boats, a paddle board - Basketball nets - Lazy river with supplied inner tube floatation Other things to note What to bring: - Towels and Toiletries - Blankets or comforters we supply pillows and sheets - Water shoes - Personal Floatation devices - Life jackets - Our water is filtered and tested from the lake however to ensure a comfortable stay we recommend you bring your own drinking Water
