Hunger Mountain Guest House is minutes away from Vermont’s best attractions! The house was a former B&B and now a self-contained vacation rental. It is a great deal for large groups in the Waterbury-Stowe area, and sleeps up to 15. There are 7 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, & fully equipped kitchen. Sorry, no cats allowed** Historic seven bedroom ski house was run for many years as a B&B with a wonderful location in a quiet village off the main highway. There is a fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room with seating for 10. One bedroom with queen bed and private bath and one bedroom with twin beds are on the main level. Washer and dryer with a half bath also on the main level. Second level has five spacious bedrooms with almost every room having a private bath. Living room with TV, gas fireplace, and another dining table for six, is a comfortable place to relax. Many games, books, and puzzles. Easy access to Interstate 89 and Burlington. Easy access to Stowe village (6 miles) and to 4 mountains: Stowe Mountain Resort - 12 miles, Sugarbush Resort - 22 miles, Mad River Glen 22 miles, Bolton Valley Resort – 15 miles. Many excellent restaurants and activities are in the area such as Ben & Jerry's and Cold Hollow Cider Mill. You'll have access to the entire 7 bedroom (3,100 sq. foot) house. The house is set behind our house (the owners). You have the large backyard to yourselves with gardens, picnic table, lawn furniture, a Weber grill and a fire pit. Sorry, we do not allow events on the property. We may consider small gatherings with a few additional people beyond guests staying at the house. We are happy to offer advice and tips about your stay in Vermont - the best restaurants, hiking and swim spots, tourist attractions, scenic slots off the beaten path, etc. We live in a separate house on the same property and are accessible if needed. However, you’ll have plenty of privacy as well. The house is across the street from Hope Davey Park, with playground, ball fields, picnic/BBQ pavilion, skate park, and 18 hole disc golf course. We are 1 mile to the Waterbury Reservoir State Park and 2 miles to Zenbarn (restaurant/bar with live music). Just taking a short walk in this neighborhood is beautiful, with views of Hunger Mountain and Camel's Hump. We are within 3 miles to Ben&Jerry's, and walking distance to Cold Hollow Cider Mill (best cider donuts!). We are 5 miles to downtown Waterbury, a mecca of amazing food and drink. And we are less than 7 miles to Stowe Village! We have up to seven parking spaces. Items in the house include: washer, dryer, laundry soap, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, TP, garbage bags. Kitchen has spices and some basic condiments, many kitchen items like drip coffee maker, Keurig, blender, toaster, hand mixer, etc. All linens and towels are provided. Five bedroom AC units and plenty of fans. Kitchen is fully equipped. We have puzzles, family games, books for all ages, etc.!
