Walk-in the front door, past the mudrooms, and Stratton unfolds before your very eyes: your private lake, a 27-hole golf course, the mountain itself. Soaring windows under double-height ceilings frame breathtaking panoramic views in every room. All barriers between indoor and outdoor melt away, and you are enveloped in the grandeur of the surroundings. With seven private bedrooms — five of which are king-size — and six baths, this sprawling residence welcomes both grand gathering and complete privacy; it is designed for modern, approachable luxury. Or maybe just coax a roaring fire (firewood is always plentiful), and relax with a hot toddy or cup of cocoa, far from the crowds in town. Spring: Marvel at the flowers blooming outside your wide windows. Boat, canoe, paddleboard on your lake; play golf; take endless hikes around the property.
