Welcome to KIRA, a stunning holiday home by the Beach. The Lagoon & Hove Beach Park (activities/leisure facilities) are on our doorstep. A short stroll to Rockwater for beachfront dining and drinks, or head to vibrant Brighton for shopping, bars/clubs, dinning and activities. With a bus stop right outside, everything you need is within easy reach. KIRA is the perfect base for a memorable stay. Guests have often said its the best Airbnb they've stayed in! The space This large comfortable luxury garden apartment sleeps 4 guests and has two bedrooms. KIRA's master bedroom (King Bed) has been designed with Italian inspiration and has it’s own small charming courtyard. The lower ground twin bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds and is beautifully styled. The Lounge is a showstopper. Large bay windows and fireplace harping back to the Edwardian period of the property. 2 comfy sofas to relax and unwind, kick back and watch the TV or play family games. KIRA boasts all the gadgets you need to keep everyone entertained including SkyTV, Netflix, Amazon Echo Dot, and fast Wifi. The Bathroom has a tub and shower and feels like a high end hotel. KIRA’s gorgeous kitchen has everything you could possibly need for your stay. You will have sole use of the beautiful landscaped garden to enjoy after a day at the beach or sit and eat breakfast alfresco on the patio or relax on the garden lounge set. At KIRA you will have the beachfront and Hove Lagoon on your doorstep. Lagoon Watersports is one of the country's premier watersports centres offering windsurfing, wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding tuition and hire. Activities are available to adults and kids, no previous experience necessary. For skateboard enthusiasts or BMX Riders we have the newly opened, Hove Beach Park, boasting a fabulous pump track and skate park! This too is apposite Kira. Hove Beach Park also boasts Tennis & Paddle courts and a sand court for Volleyball. These amenities are all a short stroll from Kira. For small children there is an amazing play/park area plus paddling pool. In summer there is a small fairground/bouncy castle, crazy golf and pedalos you can hire out. We do provide a travel cot with mattress and a high chair for infants. Rockwater, a stunning beachside venue is a short walk along the prommenade, comprising 2 Restaurants/bars and a deck and coffee shack. A bit furthe ron is Babbel another great venue overlooking the sea. Lots more Restaurants can be found on Church street, with Hove's finest cuisine. 2 miles on you'll find the vibrant city of Brighton offering many activities, shopping, bars and dining options to enhance your stay. Additionally, Wish Park is just a stone's throw away, offering convenient access to buses that can take you into Brighton every 2 to 3 minutes, or catch the Coastliner bus (with a stop just outside) to reach either Brighton or venture west to Littlehampton (departing every 10 minutes). A taxi ride to town will cost approximately £8 and take approx. 10 minutes. We highly recommend exploring the famous Brighton Lanes and Pavilion (would recommend a look inside this famous building). For those seeking the countryside, the South Downs are just a 10-15 minutes drive away, perfect for leisurely walks amidst nature. If you're inclined towards cultural exploration, the historic town of Lewes, located 10 miles away, offers attractions such as Lewes Castle and the remnants of Lewes Priory. The splendid Arundel Castle and gardens are just a half-hour drive away. In fact, there are numerous options for day trips from this idyllic vacation home. Please note that we are readily available if you require any assistance, as we live in the maisonette above Kira. However, we fully respect your privacy and will ensure that you remain undisturbed. Please be aware there is are stairs going to the lower ground twin bedroom, not suitable for very small children (under 2) Guest access Whole apartment and sole use of garden and outdoor furniture. Other things to note Parking is on street, we will provide permits for the nights you are staying at no extra charge. The best streets to park on are Wish Road and Glendor Road, as close to the beach you can get. The parking permit will run out at 10am, so if a later checkout is granted, you will need to to park opposite Kira, pay and display @ £1.20 p.h. If you have large bags you can pull up outside and drop off your luggage.
