With the cabin nestled deep in the woods, you may occasionally spot (or hear) some of our local wildlife. We provide monthly pest maintenance and discreet bait traps to keep things comfortable, but small critters like gray or flying squirrels and the occasional field mouse can sometimes make an appearance—it’s part of mountain life here in Sylva. Flying squirrels are nocturnal and protected in North Carolina. We’ve placed sound machines in each bedroom for light sleepers, and our team is always available if anything needs attention during your stay.
