Only a short drive to Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour. This beautiful historic home was originally built circa 1900 in Coffs Harbour. Perched overlooking the Harbour, it was the Coffs Harbourmaster's residence. Built from local Tallow wood, it was built to stand the tests of time, 11-foot ornate ceilings, original French doors opening on to the magnificent wraparound balconies, this grand old home takes you back to a different era. The house was extensively renovated in 2008. Bringing the outside inside through the beautiful French doors, this home is an uncluttered beautiful space to breathe and escape the trappings of city life. In summer you can choose to turn on the fans, open the French doors and enjoy the breeze of cross ventilation. In winter curl up by the fire and read a book or soak up the sun out on the balconies. Afternoon and evenings you can enjoy the sunset with family and friends around the firepit which is located next the fantastic outdoor bush kitchen. The outdoor bush kitchen is equipped with hot water, gas wok cooker, fridge & 4 burner gas bbq. Offering an outdoor shower, it is the perfect space to wash off the ocean sea salt & sand. There is also a separate toilet located outside. The Harbour master is situated on 2/3 of an acre of lawns & gardens, the perfect space for the kids to run around or for family games. Boarded on two sides by national parks, giving the property a lovely feel of privacy. The large outdoor grass & entertaining area makes The Harbour Master the ideal location for your next holiday! The 2 x Kings bed have the option of being split into 2 singles. Linen is supplied for your stay at The Harbour Master. We require an online guest registration to be filled out and submitted through a secure online portal. You are required to provide a copy of you photo ID and card details (unless making the booking through Airbnb). If you are unable to do this, we will be unable to accept your booking and/or provide a refund for this reason. This property is pet friendly.
