**Gilmer County STR License #001502** The Riverside Grande Lodge is a spacious, beautiful cabin offering seclusion and privacy along scenic Mountaintown Creek. Set just off the river’s edge, it feels as if you’re floating on the water, with a rare level grassy riverfront. Multiple spaces throughout the cabin let every guest enjoy their own escape. Watch geese, deer, river otters, and Blue Heron, then cool off swimming or tubing from the sandy beach. Enjoy! The space Enjoy all this from a five-star cabin that includes details such as professional hair care products, luxurious bedding and towels, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, a game room with 3/4 Ping Pong and Foosball, a movie room with a 65" Smart TV, Sound Bar, DVD/Blu-ray player, three fireplaces(one firepit) to choose from, a wide assortment of board games, poker set, cards, a luxury Bull Frog Hot Tub with lounge seat, 3 king masters including 2 with balconies overlooking the river. You simply will not find a nicer cabin in a more idyllic setting. Note the game room on the top level includes a twin size daybed with a trundle underneath serving as a 6th bedroom. IMPORTANT- Please note that our base rate is for 4 people and that the rate increases $15 per night per each additional Guest above 4 up to 12 total Guests or up to an additional $120 per night. This allows us to offer a more reasonable rate for smaller parties. DOG- While we do allow ONE dog it must be 50 pounds or less and at least 2 years old. We require the completion of our Dog Form which includes uploading a Vet Health Certificate confirming the dog's breed, age, weight, and that its vaccinations are current along with a photo of the dog. Note that there is a pet fee of $35/night . Also, we reserve the right to restrict certain breeds. Guest access You will enjoy access to the entire home and nearly 1,000 feet of private riverfront as we own two additional lots and three adjacent homes. This includes a large grass area with a horseshoe court! Please DO NOT book more than one cabin individually at the same time as this type of reservation does not allow guests to intermingle in each other's cabins. Only Registered Guests will be allowed in any individually rented cabins. We offer Fiber Internet allowing speeds that will keep all guests connected and happy! Please note that while access to the cabin is generally easy(we drive a Hyundai Sonota Hybrid), the last ~1/3 of a mile is on a community maintained gravel road. Parking is off-street and there are just a few stairs to enter the cabin. Finally, please note that our air conditioning and heating system is set to allow for a minimum temperature setting of 72 degrees and maximum temperature of 76 degrees. Experience has taught us that these temperatures are very comfortable for most Guests and is an important part of our energy conservation program. In the event that a Guest desires a lower or higher setting, we are happy to accommodate this need allowing a setting as low as 68 or or as high as 80 degrees for a surcharge of $10/night.
