The space This cheerful two-bedroom apartment features high ceilings and clean-lined design, accented by colorful touches of local art and handcrafted wooden furniture, so your senses can delight from the moment you walk in. Welcome to your second home! This cozy getaway consists of: - A beautiful and comfortable open layout, with the living and dining room next to a wonderfully equipped kitchen, ideal for enjoying meals at home (great, especially if you're traveling on a budget!). - The kitchen is spacious, with granite countertops and a modern oven and stove for preparing your meals at home. It also has a central island that can serve as a serving bar or as a large dining table, with two benches that can seat at least 6 people. This central island is also an excellent place to work with your laptop. - The living room has a double sofa-futon, which can be converted into a bed to sleep up to 2 people. - Sliding glass doors that connect the living room to the private patio, where you will find a Jacuzzi to soak in and enjoy after a long day. Sip a glass of wine at sunset, surrounded by lush greenery, have fun and a drink while you sort through the memories of the wonderful day you've just had. (Please note that the hot tub uses hot water from the faucet and therefore will only heat up as much as the faucet allows. Still, it's a beautiful addition to the private patio area!) - The apartment has two beautiful bedrooms: Bedroom 1: The master bedroom features a queen bed, large closet and a sliding entry door leading to the patio area with hot tub. Bedroom 2: Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and a spacious closet. - The full bathroom has modern features and finishes such as refreshing polished cement and decorative tile, as well as a large shower. You'll feel like a local here! Stroll through the streets of town stopping at every store, try the many and varied restaurants, bars and cafes along the way, or just soak in the feeling of being in one of the most magical places in the world. You can also see and do many things around Tulum: after walking around the town, you can visit ancient Mayan ruins, such as Tulum or Coba, as well as freshwater cenotes (natural sinkholes unique to this area and considered sacred places by the ancient Maya). Very close to Tulum are, for example, the Cenote Escondido, the Cenote Cristal, and the Gran Cenote. Their surfaces are made of fossilized coral and limestone, and natural light filters down, reflecting off the crystal clear turquoise water and natural mineral formations. All this atmosphere gives the cenotes a magical, otherworldly feel, and they are ideal sites for snorkeling or scuba diving. In addition, you can go to the beach, practice water sports (snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kite surfing, boat rides, private boat or yacht tours, fishing excursions), play golf, visit ecological parks with subterranean rivers, take day trips to Akumal, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, and much more! Guest access During your stay, you will have complete access to the apartment, the private patio, and the Jacuzzi. A comfortable retreat, a refuge from the world beyond, where the complexities of life seem to pause, offering a moment of isolation in the heart of Tulum. Other things to note *PLEASE NOTE: The lively neighborhood in which the property is located is what makes our location so attractive to travelers. We are very close to the most vibrant and lively street in Tulum. Because of our proximity to bars and restaurants, during the night, you may hear music and noise in the distance, which is always a good excuse to enjoy Tulum's fun nightlife! *ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: the jacuzzi in the courtyard uses hot water from the faucet and therefore will only heat as much as the faucet allows. There is no other heat source to control the temperature. **Please be advised that, until further notice, your stay may be affected by construction noise (daytime only). Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. Tropical insects are endemic to our area. We have regular preventative pest control, but it's possible that insects might sneak inside. Please help us keep them out by keeping windows & doors closed and store food appropriately. During your stay, you will be provided with free of charge: Wi-Fi, parking, bed linen, some essential toiletries and bath and beach towels. And if you wish to explore the town by bike, we can also help you rent one. There will be some essential toiletries for you to use as soon as you arrive: toilet paper, hand and body soap, shampoo, dish detergent and garbage bags. However, these items are not replenished: if you run out and need more, you will have to go to a store to buy what you need. During the day, the condominium's air conditioners are programmed to turn on and off at the following times: 02:00 AM: OFF 11:00 AM: OFF 5:00 PM: OFF There is no daily maid service. If you require maid service during your stay, we can arrange this for an additional charge of $30 USD. *Note: In order to ensure the safety of guests, the property has security cameras at the main entrance. Occasionally, extreme weather conditions and other unexpected external situations may affect the Internet service and electricity, causing it to work intermittently or fail completely. Please be aware that situations such as these are completely beyond our control. HOUSE RULES - Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. - Smoking is not allowed in the complex. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or recreational drug use is strictly prohibited in the house. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine of 300 USD. - Any illegal activity is prohibited. Parties, events and excessive noise are not permitted. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of your neighbors. - No guests other than those listed on your reservation are allowed. - No tents or other structures may be set up on the property grounds. - Guests agree to cover any charges related to damages incurred during the stay, as well as to cover any additional cleaning charges that may be necessary after the stay. - Guests may be asked for official identification at the time of booking, on the day of check-in or during the stay. - Please avoid moving furniture. - Pets are not allowed.
