If you’re willing to take a 15-18 minute walk, you can walk up to the Old City at Jaffa Gate! Hadar is a thoughtful host who responded quickly to my messages. Guests are provided excellent instructions on how to enter the apartment and use the TV/heater/air conditioner. He graciously allowed us to drop our bags off a little early, which helped us tremendously! The stylish apartment is stocked with thoughtful amenities: hairdryer, umbrella, multi port USB charging station, tea and coffee/espresso maker, pots/pans, dishes/glasses, cutlery and paper goods in the kitchenette. A bowl of delicious chocolates and a bottle of mineral water were waiting for us. The towels were thick, the shower nice and hot and the bed was SUPER comfortable. The code you use at the door on the top floor and turn the handle and you are in. Lots of good hosts I have had, but Hadar was outstanding and we didn't even get to meet him. He replied so quickly and nothing was too much to ask for. He even took our bags from the apartment and took it to a location 10 mins away he has so we could enjoy our day and go there and just get the bags for our flights. The view of the apartment is the star, seriously it's big, overlooks Jerusalem, couldn't had asked for better. We were about 20 min walk from the old city and about 15 from the famous Mahane Yehuda Market, you must go there the vibe is awesome, great food lots of bars, people watching music etc. Family friendly for those interested.
