Other things to note If you are a pilot and would like to fly into Shelter Cove, our place is within walking distance from the runway and there are some car rentals available on Turo. I highly recommend a trip to the Kings Range Visitor Center. The BLM staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the hiking trails and they have a giant 3D map of the mountain range on display. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED! If you are caught bringing a pet onto my property or in my home it is an automatic $500 fee added to your stay.
