The Green Lagoon, Relaxation, Nature and Nordic Bath.

Located in the middle of the woods of the Quercy plateau, the Lagon Vert gîte offers a moment of calm and relaxation in a comfortable space. Nordic bath, petanque, home cinema on the program! A cottage built in 2021 with a large covered terrace open to nature. It consists of two bedrooms with king size beds, a 40 m² kitchen lounge, a bathroom with bathtub and dry toilet. A place that is suitable for one-night or multi-night stays. The space The Lagon Vert estate is located in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park. This part of the sky is part of the dark triangle, the area with the lowest light pollution in metropolitan France. It is a 5000 m² wooded estate with a large bucolic landscaped garden and a permaculture vegetable garden. The estate is composed of two houses of contemporary, ecological architecture, open to nature. They have been designed and oriented so that each of them offers an intimate outdoor living space. Depending on availability, you will have the option to rent the entire estate, which corresponds to 12 people: -The house, with pool, which has a capacity of 8 people. -The cottage, with its Nordic bath, which has a capacity of 4 people. Access to the vacation rental is via a private road about 100 meters long that passes in front of our house. The exterior has been designed to keep the undergrowth and bucolic aspect of the plateau. A petanque court under the trees, a hammock for a nap, a table and chairs for a good meal in the garden. Its 1500 m² garden is not overlooked -The capacity of the cottage is 4 people. It consists of: - 2 bedrooms with king size beds (180/200). - a bathroom, a bathtub, two sinks. You will have shower gel, shampoo and a hair dryer at your disposal - a 40 m² room, including the living room and an equipped kitchen open to the covered terrace. From the sofa, you can enjoy the garden view or have a movie session on the projection screen (access to Netflix using a computer or think about your movies on a USB stick). A central island visually separates the living room area from the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, induction stove, dishwasher, espresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle...) - a laundry room with a combined unit (fridge-freezer), microwave, washing machine, iron will be at your disposal. The space has plenty of storage, for shoes, bags or large suitcases... - For ecological concerns, we have installed dry toilets with urine collectors. Unlike regular toilets, you won't need to flush! There is no smell and no need for sawdust. For maintenance, a vinegar spray and biodegradable wipes and you're all set. Heating is managed by inertia electric heaters. The covered wooden terrace will allow you to enjoy the outdoors, even if a few drops are looming. The Nordic bath inserted on the terrace is not covered to make the most of the starry sky. It can accommodate 4-6 people. It is equipped with bubble jets and a light. You can cool off there during hot summer days, and warm up during cold seasons or cool summer nights. The water is heated by a wood burning wood stove. You can prepare your bath (between 2 to 4 hours of heating are needed to obtain a 38-degree bath) by lighting a fire with the logs of wood that we will make available to you. In July and August, the rental is from Saturday to Saturday. The property must be returned in the condition it was found (dishes washed, garbage cans emptied) Other things to note Housekeeping is required: 30 euro.
