The award-winning 1870s Rosebud on Schubert and the property’s newest Reverie House cottage are nestled in the heart of town, just two blocks from Fredericksburg's Main Street, Marktplatz and community pool. These two homes that sleep 12 are the perfect place to unwind with friends and family after a day on the town. Enjoy relaxing on the homes’ patios or kick your feet up around the fire pit after an easy stroll home. Perfect for your next couples getaway, girls weekend or family gathering! The space This historic Rosebud on Schubert sleeps up to 8 adults. The home has two queen beds outfitted in luxury linens in each of the spacious bedrooms, and a separate room with a daybed and trundle to accommodate any combination of family, friends, and small children. The home features a downstairs powder room and two full en suite bathrooms on the upper level, as well as ample closet space for luggage storage. Yard games will keep the most active guests busy, and board games are available for play. Although we encourage guests to unplug, a separate open concept office nook provides a place to quickly catch up on emails. Other amenities of the home include a complete laundry room, fully stocked kitchen, a variety of coffees with cream and sugar, a bottle of Fredericksburg wine, and a dining room to gather for meals. A pack 'n' play is available, along with sound machines, extra pillows, and all of your essential toiletries. The property boasts a huge, private backyard on this nearly 1/2 acre original Fredericksburg Townlot. There is an outdoor dining table, as well as a fire pit, for groups to gather around. Security cameras are present on both the front and back patios of the home. The Rosebud sits adjacent to our newly-built cottage, Reverie House. While the two homes have private patios for relaxing, they do share a private driveway and backyard fire pit. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire main home, expansive backyard and private gated parking on the property. Other things to note Historic homes are full of unique qualities like narrow stairways and water closets and raised floor moldings between rooms. Please watch your step!
