Walk 1.5 blocks to a beautiful, private beach on North Fork Peconic Bay. Easily escape the city to one of the most beautiful areas on Long Island. Comfortable house with three bedrooms all with king beds, 1.5 baths, a sunroom, dining room, outdoor deck, outdoor shower, lovely kitchen, air-conditioned and insulated for year-round comfort. Rental Permit #0576 The space The house is situated on a large lot. The back of the lot is bordered by a privately owned forest. The yard is very quiet and private. The yard is perfect for outdoor play (croquet anyone?); there is also an outdoor deck and a sunroom for wonderful summer evening dinners. House is a two minute walk from the beautiful Peconic Bay with a large sandy beach for use by Association members (dues-paying residents of the road) and their guests only. This is one of the finest bay beaches in the North Fork. It's wonderful for small children. At low tide it's very shallow, the water is very warm, and there are no waves to speak of. The swimming area is roped off for safety. If you want to visit Long Island Sound beaches (beautiful sunsets), they are two miles away. Included is lots of beach furniture and towels. Also within walking distance is a nature conservancy pond with an Osprey nest. There's a par three golf course nearby, and several 18 hole courses within 10 miles. The cycling is great; owner can recommend some quiet routes. If you have a kayak, paddle board or Sunfish, all the better; you can walk them right down to the bay. If you have a watercraft, it is very close to the Marina, or you can anchor right off the beach. There is a driveway where you could park a boat if you desired.Outdoor screen in porch is a great place for your morning coffee and evening glass of wine. There is also a newly built outdoor shower. Only restricted area is the cellar, which is used for storage, and the bunkhouse outside, which is also for storage. Other things to note The beach at the end of the street is private to the residents of our street only. The house has all the beach basics: towels, umbrella, chairs, wagon and cooler. There is a small fold out couch in the dining room that becomes a single bed- perfect for that extra child!
