3 story new townhouse in central Seattle overlooking a gated yard. Furnished common spaces with lots of light and a rooftop oasis looking out over downtown and Mt. Rainier. High-speed gigabit internet to work remotely and 10 min drive to Pike Place downtown. As of December 2021, there is construction happening nearby, so you may hear additional noise during the day. The first floor has a bedroom with queen bed, a smaller bedroom with a full size bed, and a shared bathroom. On the second floor is the kitchen and living room with 60" TV, Apple TV, well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony overlooking downtown. On the third floor is the master bedroom and bathroom with a desk and office chair and finally the rooftop area on the fourth floor. There's plenty of unzoned (free) street parking on the nearby blocks. Multiple bus lines are also within a block of the house on Rainier Ave S or 23rd Ave S. There's several nearby parks and the mountains to sound greenway bike trail a block away. I'm generally traveling out of town while I'm hosting, but I can be reached on my phone as needed and happy to share any tips or answer questions you have. The Judkins park neighborhood is well-connected to the city bus routes and has many beautiful parks and running trails. There's a couple nearby restaurants or a 20-min walk to the larger commercial areas. It's an easy 10-15 min by car or 20 min by bus to downtown or Capitol Hill. There are also lots of great restaurants and nightlife Central District, North Beacon Hill, and International District. If you have a car, there is plenty of free street parking in my neighborhood and easy access to and from I-90. In terms of public transportation, there are two bus stops within a block serving either the local 7 and 106 lines to downtown (North) and the Mt Baker light rail station (South), or lines 8 and 48 to Capitol Hill and University Washington. If you want to take public transit from the airport, I would suggest taking the light rail to Mt. Baker station and then transferring to one of the bus lines from there for the remaining 5 blocks. Additionally, there's a beautiful biking/walking trail a block away that you can take towards downtown for great views over the city or in the other direction across the I-90 floating bridge to see Mercer Island and Bellevue. This is my house where I live part of the year, so please be respectful of my personal belongings stored in some of the closets. As of December 2021, there is construction happening nearby, so you may hear additional noise during the days.
