Built in the 1870s The Big Brickhouse is a twelve-room historic beauty! Expertly decorated & boasts 13-foot ceilings on the first floor for open airy entertaining and 12-foot ceilings in the charming second floor guest bedrooms. The space The 3 guestrooms, 2.5 baths, full kitchen, and second floor laundry add all the modern convivences for an enjoyable and comfortable stay in this historic property. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, glassware, bottled refreshments, snacks etc. for your use. The stately dining room is the perfect place for dinner complete with elaborate crystal chandelier and holds a large dining table with comfortable seating for 12 guests. The cozy library & living room are the perfect place for relaxation in style with tables for games, television, fireplaces and charisma. The grand parlor is the show stopping centerpiece of this home, perfect for marveling at the craftmanship of the 1800s. Throughout the home you will notice original woodwork, original doorknobs & keyholes, elaborate original plaster moldings including oversized medallions, sconces and plaster grape details. The magnificent open wrapped staircase leading to the 3rd floor still has its original woodwork and detail. The 3rd floor is closed to the public at this time for renovation, but we hope to offer this space to guests in the future! Situated on a large double lot with an oversized front porch and big yard, there is plenty of space for yard games & outdoor fun. The home’s three guest bedrooms are beautifully decorated with all white linens and include: internet televisions, Keurig, 2 bathrooms, new hybrid mattresses. Rollaway bed available upon request. 1 Room is a King Suite with attached bathroom. The second two have a sperate bathroom with shower/tub combination of those rooms, one is a California King, and the other a Queen. This home is strictly pet and animal free in its interior due to its historic nature. Any outside vendors or additional guests on property must get prior approval from hosts and will have additional charges. Other things to note Stays longer than 3 nights receive a 10% discount. 7 nights 15% discount from nightly rate.
