The space 🏡 The Space This fully private lower-level home features its own deck, three separate entrances, and multiple areas to relax, spread out, and connect. Oceanfront deck with movable fire pit (yes—waves can reach the patio during extreme high tides 🌊) Three distinct living areas, perfect for large groups: Cozy TV lounge (seats 8) Elevated living room with panoramic ocean views (seats 8) Casual kitchen-side den (great for kids, seating for 5–7) Full kitchen + dining space designed for group meals and hangouts 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Bunk room with 6 beds (3 bunks—perfect for kids or groups) 2 full bathrooms (front + rear of home) Ideal for families, multi-family stays, or groups looking for a fun, laid-back beach basecamp. 🌅 What Makes This Place Special True beachfront living – no roads, no bluff—just sand Ever-changing shoreline: Low tide → wide, walkable beach for miles High tide → dramatic waves right at your deck Unmatched indoor-outdoor connection to the ocean A rare mix of privacy + proximity to everything 📍 Location Perfectly positioned between two classic coastal towns: 1 mile south of Dana Point 2 miles north of San Clemente Bike paths, beach trails, restaurants, and surf spots are all within easy reach. Electric and traditional bike rentals nearby make exploring effortless. 🚗 Community & Access Gated beachfront community with 24/7 security Maximum of 3 vehicles allowed (strict HOA rule) Driver names must be submitted prior to arrival for gate access Security will issue vehicle passes upon entry 🏠 Need More Space? Traveling with a larger group? There is an optional upstairs unit (separate entrance) available June 1 – October 1, allowing for combined occupancy up to 16 guests. ⚠️ Important Notes This is a vintage beach home—full of character, not modernized luxury Ocean conditions vary—water shoes recommended during rocky tides Occasional high tides may reach the deck (part of the magic of this location) Guest access 🚗 Arrival, Gate Access & Parking (Important) Gated Community Access When you arrive, check in at the gate with the security ambassador and provide your name. They’ll issue vehicle passes and share brief community guidelines. Pre-Arrival Requirement (24 hours prior) To ensure smooth entry, please send us the first and last name of each driver entering the community at least one day before arrival. 🚙 Parking Rules (Strict HOA Enforcement) Your reservation includes 3 permanent parking spaces inside the community: Only 3 vehicles total are allowed inside at any time Once a vehicle is issued a pass, it may come and go freely during your stay No substitutions or additional vehicles are allowed after check-in Assigned Parking Locations: Space #1: Driveway (in front of the far-left garage door) Spaces #2 & #3: Across the road, to the left of the white line Larger Vehicles (SUVs, trucks, Suburbans): Must fit fully within the marked white lines If they do not fit, they may use overflow parking inside the gate (only with a valid pass) Important: Only the 3 registered vehicles may park anywhere inside the community (including overflow) All additional vehicles must park outside the gate in public parking Guests may be picked up and dropped off at the gate 📘 Detailed public parking options are included in the House Manual. 🏠 Upstairs Unit (Separate Space) There is a separate upstairs unit with its own private entrance, available for larger groups (up to 16 guests total when combined). Available: June 1 – October 30 When not reserved together, the upstairs may be occupied by up to 6 guests Your space remains fully private and separate Other things to note You will access the beach by following a path through boulders. Depending on sand movement this can be a short hop to the beach or you may have to pick your way down through the boulders. Most of our guests can access the beach easily.
