It occupies Grade A gothic buildings, the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which became St Benedict’s Abbey. Located centrally in The Highlands, Fort Augustus Abbey promises comfort whilst exploring Urquhart Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns, Skye or Ben Nevis. The space The Ratisbon is a ground floor apartment, large and beautifully decorated, which has a private terrace with views out across the Monastery Lawn. The large reception room, master bedroom and guest bedroom also benefit form stunning views across the loch. The large master bedroom has a double bed, with a built in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. There is a second twin bedroom and a family bathroom. The property can accommodate 4 people and guests can also use the double sofa bed in the lounge for an additional adult or 2 small children. The apartment has a separate kitchen/dining room with plenty of room and it is ideal for families or for a romantic lochside break.
