But if you like, Great Sacandaga Lake is just down the street. Other things to note The Hideaway is also a great place to stay during the winter months! With an outdoor spa, indoor wood stove and backup generator, you won’t have to worry about getting stuck in the cold at The Hideaway. Enjoy a vast area for snowmobiling (our driveway has lots of space for a truck and trailer), cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. Please note that during our peak season, Memorial Day through the end of August, check-in is only on Saturdays.
