Get away from it all! The Blue Ridge Parkway & I-77 are 8 miles , hwy 221 is 2 miles. Pet friendly. Soak in the huge soaking tub,listen to the creek thru the window. This stocked creek is noisy and fun to wade, fish and float in. The yurt is on a gated property. The driveway is biker friendly, and in the blue ridge mountains. The area has lots of backroads with accessible places to go on atvs. We do provide a side by side for an additional fee. The space This is a yurt sitting just by the water. You do share the property with a cabin and there is approx 200 ft between the two spaces, but the yurt is private with total privacy on the rear deck and trees between it and the cabin which is empty 50% of the time. It is very quiet, easy access and clean! The rear of the yurt is totally private, and no one is across the creek due to a rock cliff. We also offer rental of a side by side to explore the back roads. Guest access The whole yurt and property surrounding the yurt is yours! We do not interact with our guests unless our guests need assistance or enjoy company. I do like to welcome you if we pass along the drive or see one another. I make myself available if you need something or have an issue. Other things to note This yurt has a wood pellet fire place and two minisplits for additional heating/ cooling.We also had a 2nd well installed, both are over 500’ deep drilled though granite and slate. The water is potable and safe.
