Welcome to Red City Retreat in Earlville, NY- just 5 miles south of Colgate University. Enjoy this quaint, charming historic home, thoughtfully updated for modern comfort. The space This restored 1853 home features three upstairs bedrooms, plus a main-floor den with two additional beds. Guests have full access to a well-equipped kitchen, large dining area, comfortable living room, and bright sun porch. The home includes one full bathroom on the first floor with a tub/shower combo. Amenities include free off-street parking, outdoor patio seating, picnic table, and grill (charcoal not included), along with keyless entry and in-home laundry. Freshly ground coffee is provided for your stay. Sleeping arrangements include a queen, full, and twin bed in the upstairs bedrooms, plus a daybed with pull-out trundle (two twin beds; 100 lb weight limit per bed) in the den. Access to the upstairs bedrooms is via a single staircase (12 steps) with handrails. As is common in historic homes, the stairs are moderately steep. Ceiling heights are standard on the main floor; upstairs ceilings are lower, and guests over 6 feet may need to stoop in the primary bedroom. Red City Retreat comfortably accommodates 1–7 guests. Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to 7 total overnight guests, including all adults and children. We live just minutes from the property and are readily available if anything comes up during your stay. You’ll enjoy a private, self-guided check-in, allowing you to settle in at your convenience. We respect your space and will not disturb your stay, but are always happy to assist if needed. From time to time, we may reach out in advance if outdoor maintenance (such as watering plants or lawn care) needs to be done during your stay—we will always check in with you beforehand.
