We are right off Old Highway 5, minutes from Downtown Ellijay, outdoor activities, restaurants, groceries, shopping and the annual Apple Festival. The space Welcome to Shepherd’s Run! We love dogs and welcome all breeds and sizes! This cozy, fully renovated cabin sits on 1.6 acres with pastures, mountain views, and plenty of wildlife. The grounds are covered in wild peppermint, filling the air with a fresh, natural fragrance. Your furry friends will have a blast with two fenced play areas, including a fire pit, seesaw, truck tires, a sniffari route, jumping noodles, jolly balls, a sandbox, and a fillable pool (stored under the deck). The back porch is gated for safety, and a large fenced yard is ready for adventures. Inside, enjoy two king beds, a leather sofa with blankets, a butcher block kitchen table, and a cozy electric fireplace. Furniture covers and a large dog crate ensure your pets are comfortable, and dog supplies are stocked in the kitchen cabinet. Located just off Old Highway 5, you’re minutes from Downtown Ellijay, outdoor activities, restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to the Apple Festival. Bring your dogs, their favorite things, and settle in for a fun, relaxing getaway — we can’t wait to host you and your furry family! Guest access To all areas except crawlspace and utility room, owners and cleaners closets (locked). DO NOT go beyond the wooden gates surrounding the property, it is private land and our neighbors. When you get to the firewood stand, or to the creek or to the wooden low fence behind our sandbox, you have reached the end of our property! Other things to note Please note! The bathroom can only be accessed through the main bedroom. Please consider this set up before making a reservation! We require a signed rental agreement to complete your booking. A security deposit HOLD in the amount of $250 will be placed on your payment information on file 2 days before your arrival and said HOLD will be removed 3 days after departure. It is not a charge, just a hold.
