The Big Horn Homestead sleeps a total of seventeen with its four and a half bedrooms, three bathrooms, three spacious living rooms, two full kitchens, dining room, large outdoor patio, front porch, cozy gas fireplace, seven beds, two queen sleeper sofas, and one additional couch. This is a beautiful 100-year-old home full of history; the Big Horn Homestead was built shortly after Wyoming became a state! Outlaws and cowboys used to roam across the beautiful hills that Sheridan occupies today. Although the history of this house is very much alive, the Big Horn Homestead has been tastefully updated to combine its past with modern comforts. A few features to be aware of that make this property unique are: -The main level bathroom has a full bathtub and standup shower. The basement bathroom is attached to the bedroom and has a full bathtub with no shower. The upstairs bathroom has a full bathtub and sit- down shower. (Please see pictures.) -The Big Horn Homestead has all the uniqueness and mystery deserving of its past—a hundred years of quirks, oddities, and treasures are yours to discover! This home has keyless entry offering you easy, secure access 24 hours per day. All house and location information are accessible through a provided tablet for your convenience, offering an easy way to order food, find maps, access Wi-Fi Information, and more. Red-grade Road is a popular route up the mountain face, open in the spring and summer season although closed to cars in the winter. If you still want to see the mountains but prefer less rugged or are traveling in a 2WD vehicle, head up above Dayton, Wy to find a highway leading right to lake Sibley, Steamboat Rock and much more! Museums and historic landmarks fill the area with an award winning golf course only 10 minutes away! We look forward to welcoming you to your home away from home. Sheridan Wyoming is a perfect sized community, although you can walk to many locations sometimes a drive is preferred. You will find most attractions are under 10 minutes away, some 30-60 minutes, but well worth the scenic drive! If the nightlife is not your go-to cozy up on the couch or chairs in the living room near the fireplace and read a book or watch your favorite show downstairs and order food through the tablet, while enjoying Wyoming. The Big Horn Homestead is located in a very safe and friendly neighborhood, with not only a short walk to downtown Sheridan but also great neighbors. You’ll have 100% privacy and the entire house and outdoor patio/porch to enjoy. This house has been thoroughly disinfected after each guest for your comfort and safety with all CDC recommended guidelines followed strictly. Absolutely no smoking anywhere on-premises. $300 fine for any smoking/vaping on-premises. Quiet hours from 10pm – 6am every day. Please, respect the neighbors by observing these quiet hours. Contact us if you have any issues with noise. Cancellation policy strictly enforced. Guests can fit 1-2 cars in the driveway to the right of the home. Any additional cars have plenty of street parking options available. If you have a trailer there is parking at the end of the block, a parking garage at the bank nearby, or you may park it on the street in front or near the home, just please be mindful of the neighbors. Be absolutely sure the neighbors can exit their driveways easily. Trash cans are behind the house in the alleyway. There is a pet fee of $15 per pet/night. Please do not allow pets on the furniture.
