The living room and the kitchen have direct access to the private patio-loggia and private garden. The staircase that links the ground floor to the first floor is large and comfortable (with a safe rail hand). Furniture is antique, elegant and carefully selected with pictures and ornaments. The house has thick stone walls, so in the summer, the temperature inside is always cool (night and day) even when outside is quite hot. The GROUND FLOOR consists of: 1 large living room + 1 kitchen + 1 bathroom. --- Living room has a comfortable couch-sofa and armchairs situated around the ancient, original 18° century fireplace. Also available in the living room: Flat Screen TV and WI-FI internet modem. The room has 2 windows and a large door with direct access to the patio-loggia and the garden. --- Kitchen is fully equipped with sink, stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster and many, many cooking utensils (pots, pans, bowls, dishes, glasses, cutlery…). The kitchen opens onto the private patio-loggia and the garden. --- Bathroom "1": has white Italian tiles, large shower, basin/sink, toilet and towels. All the beds are made up with crisp fresh linen (high thread 100% cotton); the bath towels are also 100% good quality cotton. It is equipped with bathtub and shower, twin basins/sinks, bidet, toilet, hairdryer, towels. THE GARDEN The garden is about 200 square metres large. It is completely private (only for you!!!) and completely fenced (safe for your children!!!). There is a covered patio-loggia (just in front of the living room and the kitchen), a BBQ and a dining table with chairs (seats 6 persons). It is an attractive medieval town where you will find any kind of shops, supermarkets, banks, several very good restaurants and a shopping center. In Pontassieve there is a rail station that offers frequent train service to the center of Florence. The train takes about 20 minutes and is an easy way to travel for those who do not wish to take their car into the city.
